Beautiful facility and location. Stayed in 146. Leaky sink and no microwave. You can certainly hear people upstairs. That was rough. One major thing and why I won't be back. There was a $100 resort fee for 3 nights. Resort fees are crooked, in my opinion. Advertise the room at $200 a night, not $170, and, at checkout, charge the extra $30.

My granddaughter and I absolutely LOVED our stay in room 155 at The Tides By The Sea!! The most gorgeous ocean view with close beach access and the cutest room I've stayed in to date!! The staff here is top notch!! So friendly and they give so much attention to every detail! We also loved that the downtown area is just a short walk away on a very beautiful paved path with an ocean view the whole way! We will most definitely be back!

Ocean view! Beautiful stay…. Nice and clean, jacuzzi tub was nice! The balcony and the view of our Pacific Ocean… we were very happy and even had sunny weather! Best coast visit in a long time!! Had a great time!!

We have stayed at the Tides by the Sea more than three times over the last year. It's well located, tucked by the sea, has great views, amenities, and the new managers go well above the call of duty to ensure you enjoy your time. The promenade makes a nice stroll, the local restaurants are hidden gems, and the rooms, attention to detail, and coziness of it all makes this hidden gem well worth your time and money. I'd highly recommend!

This is absolutely our favorite place to stay in Seaside. Staff is super friendly and management is amazing. Our room was very clean and the beds are nice and comfy. The view from our oceanfront condo was amazing. Overall, a great experience we will be back.

We have stayed at The Tides many times during visits to the Oregon Coast. This last time we brought our 8 month old baby and were so grateful to have a Pack n Play brought to our room. That was so helpful to our travels. The location cannot be beat, you are truly steps from the beach and the side of Seaside you are on is so tranquil. Grateful for our many stays at The Tides, they have always brought so much peace into our busy lives.

I have stayed in various accommodations in Seaside, and this is my new favorite! The view from any oceanfront unit is unbeatable because there is nothing but dune and sand between you and the ocean. It is quiet, yet you are still steps away from the boardwalk. Each unit is maintained by management, but privately owned which means they are have one-of-a-kind updated vacation rental charm without the added vacation rental fees. What tipped the scales for me was the customer service. The unit I booked had an issue with the wall heater, and as soon as I let them know, Craig was right on it to rectify the issue. Ultimately, they upgraded me to a different unit, refunded part of my stay, and even gifted me a bottle of wine. Managers Craig and Cindy were on site and checked in with me to make sure things were ok even after I changed units. They clearly care about their customers and I look forward to returning! This is a gem!

Beautiful view & very close to ocean. Do NOT stay on the ground floor!! All you will hear is the people above you, so so very loud & the thumping pounding like elephants and furniture being moved all night long. Very little sleep. And mice in the room, if you have a dog they will be up chasing them all the time.
The outdoor heated pool wasn't always available, not heated one day at all.
Would not stay again, maybe without dogs and on 2nd floor.
