My family and I rented out the adventure lodge for a family reunion and it was everything we expected and more! I cannot say enough good things about the hosts and the accomodation.
Our hosts were incredibly helpful with booking and recommendations around town, so warm and helpful.
The accomodation was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and right in town walking distance to everything.
I highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay for a few nights or to rent the entire place out, it was perfect in every day!

We had a fantastic stay at The Adventure Lodge in Hood River! The service was amazing, the rooms were adorable and cozy, and the view of the Columbia River was breathtaking. I loved our large windows and wood accents in our room. The lodge is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown which made date night after a long kite session super easy and enjoyable. We brought our dog along for our stay which was a huge bonus and there is a park across the street our dog absolutely loved. Highly recommend The Adventure Lodge for a memorable getaway!

Just like Hood River, this hotel is a perfect nook away from the hustle and bustle. With just 7 rooms, each one is cleverly decorated and named for local adventure attractions. Most notable is the cleanliness of the room (not to mention the stunning view!) and the details, it is all in the details! The bed is comfortable with lots of pillows and a down comforter. The bathrooms are clean and have great soaps. The windows have blackout shades and the room is air conditioned. Bring your bike and your pet, and walk up the road to some of the best restaurants and cafes (45 min drive to Mt. Hood). Stay and feel spoiled.

Want a chill room with a killer view in walking distance to Hood River’s main scene? This is it. Super clean, great decor and attention to detail, low key but with quick to respond hosting and walking distance to legit restaurants, pharmacy, and supermarket. And a great price too!

My husband and I had a fantastic few days in Hood River and much of that had to do with our accommodations. It was our first time staying at the Adventure Lodge, but absolutely won’t be our last. It was the perfect room with the perfect view - everything we needed and more. I really enjoyed reading the description in the room about how the Lodge came to be, how thoughtfully all the building materials were selected, and more.

I’ve been van traveling most of the summer but my few nights at the adventure lodge were some of the cleanest, most enjoyable, relaxing ones we’ve had on this trip! We walked everywhere in the downtown area during our 3 days in HR.
We are traveling with our dog and we were welcomed into the Labyrinth room and it had insane views of the Gorge! The location couldn’t be more central to town, I was able to check the kiteboarding conditions from the bathroom. If you cross the street there’s a park and we took our dog every day!
During the stay we were offered extra coffee and food coupon cards to some of the local businesses provided by the owner.
I will definitely be back to the adventure lodge it’s a great option for a nice vacation

Very clean, beautiful rooms with a lot of Oregon charm. Reclaimed redwood and recycled kite tarps are just some of the unique touches. There’s a nice big window facing the river which kept me entertained while a lightning storm rolled through. The place has AC and the bed is super warm and comfy. There’s a bit of street noise and the walls are a little thin but it was nothing that couldn’t be fixed with some ear plugs. As a sweet bonus AJ offered to do a small load of our laundry which really helped us out. Thank you adventure lodge! I hope to come back here soon

Adventure Lodge is not only a wonderful place to spend a few days but the management is outstanding. My husband & I (and dog) have stayed there a few times and are never disappointed. This past visit had an unexpected car issue and the manager was so kind to give as a discount for an extra night we weren't planning on. It's our go to Hood River escape!
