Consider a situation where you are being forced to move to a different room due to a remodeling team(which barged in our room without knocking on the door) have to get you out of your current room. And the "manager" lacks the backbone to get the room that is down, up and functioning as well as I think the Alabama guidelines have stated up to code. But again I'm expected to clean this room which needs maintenance to work on first before I would even consider cleaning up first. But I think I have a right as a human being and even in this state of deep south, consider being better than the condition of this room, I wouldn't have my worst enemy or my best dog live in that room.

They are in the process of upgrading the hotel, and don't get me wrong, it's 1000 times better than before but the cheap upgrade will decorate fast.
This is NOT a hotel for visitors to Mobile or anyone traveling with kids. The value is also not good, several motels in Tillmans Corner cost the same and are so much better.

Incredible stay! Hard to decide what was more decadent, the afternoon massages pool side by the Swedish, in house professional or the five star meals presented by their highly trained staff. Immaculately clean. Incredibly posh. The owners were beyond gracious and went as far as to have comped me and darling Buffy an exquisite and rare bottle of Pinot. From the caught daily blackened Snapper to the Eggs Cathedral, not a single detail was overlooked. Do yourself a favor and come see for yourself. Highly recommend and will be returning.

This hotel will make you feel like you're in the trenches of Vietnam. Everyone around here makes you think they're out to get you; numerous folks pull up with booming noises at 2 AM.

I second the many reviews saying this isn't the place you want to bring your children and also, your dog. Even if your dog is allowed to stay here, that would be cruel and unusual punishment, unless you want yourself and your animal to shack up with the insects and bedbugs. By far the most nasty hotel I've stayed at. I didn't even want to take a bath here... and didn't.

Bed bugs everywhere. They gave me a new room and it also had bed bugs! They brought a microwave to my new room and pretended not to notice the roaches crawling out of microwave as they plugged it in for me. I booked a week and their “no refunds” policy is a joke! I checked out before actual check out date because the bed bugs were so bad I couldn’t sleep. I left motel covered in bites all over my neck, face, and arms. So not worth it. Stay far away from here if u can!

I saw the Beverly Motel listed in a few guidebooks as an affordable option south of Mobile ... and I also found an online discount where on a drop-in basis, you could get a room there for just $40. Sounded like a good deal!!||||Then I showed up at the place, and the worn-out sign should have given me a clue. It was a dump ... and really, really creepy. The desk clerk was behind a bullet-proof window, and questionable folks milled about the parking lot. I work in San Francisco's Tenderloin district, where I've been inside every run-down slummy SRO. I got the same vibe from this place.||||The front door to my room barely locked, and the windows had tape on it ... as if someone had tried to break in. The room also reeked of cigarette smoke. I complained to the desk clerk, who offered me another room. It was only marginally better ... because it had a bigger bed.||||I debated on what to do ... I was only going to stay there for a night on a two-week road trip from Miami to Memphis, and my standards were really low and basic. I wanted to spend the least amount of money possible as the trip was costing me a fortune, but I still wanted a decent experience.||||I concluded that, even if I wouldn't be spending any time there besides sleeping, it just wasn't safe for me ... a 30-year-old single male. Maybe if it was located in Downtown Mobile, I could stand it for a night ... but it was just an anonymous motel, miles south of town off a highway full of strip malls. It was gross ... it was depressing ... and I wanted OUT.||||I told the desk clerk the whole place sucked, and I'm glad that he gave me a full refund with no trouble. I left as quickly as I could, and checked out other motels along the road. When I went to other places and mentioned the Beverly Motel, they sighed. "We don't talk about that place," they said. "We have a totally different clientele." I finally found a decent motel room a few blocks away ... it was $60 for the night, but worth the extra $20.||||I cannot overemphasize how AWFUL the Beverly Motel is ... absolutely no one should stay there, under any circumstances. The only good thing I can say is that they didn't hassle me about a refund, so I could leave!!!
