Great atmosphere and presentation. The steak was perfect and the clam chowder was fresh. Chicken fried steak had the right amount of country gravy. I will be coming back!

The spar holds its own. It’s a welcoming place with a really relaxed and nice atmosphere. Food is typical bar food but I had their sirloin steak dinner the other day for 18.99 and it was cooked perfectly. Mashers and veg was perfectly done and the steak was perfectly done. I think their space has way more potential for a super fun bar. Recommended for sure.

We came to the Spar Restaurant & Bar for a quick lunch and were the only ones dining! Service was great. French dip was fantastic. Chicken sandwich was a chicken strip between buns and could have been better. Garlic fries were okay. We would maybe come back here again for some billiards.

The Spar has amazing food and staff! Lately the dinner menu has started at 4 which is great, but would love the option for bar and dinner menu at any time! Highly recommend everything on the menu!

One expects bar food from a bar, of course. If so, The Spar may surprise you, but only in the most pleasant way. I had the prime rib (just happened to stumble in on a Saturday when that was the special) and it was excellent--flavorful and moist. It comes with a huge amount of sides--baked or mashed potatoes, vegetable, soup or salad, a roll, and it was all pretty great. Service was excellent, casual and friendly.

This place had a great atmosphere and the server was very friendly.
I ordered crispy chicken sandwich, not expecting much, to be honest. But when it arrived, I was very excited because the chicken was breaded with panko! Most crispy chicken sandwiches I've had in the US used a batter. This panko-crusted beauty reminded me of the chicken katsu sandwiches I used to eat back in Japan.
The chicken was freshly cooked, piping hot, and absolutely delicious!

Stopped in for lunch. The new owner was accomodating and friendly. Food was really good quality- hand cut fries were delicious. Burger was fresh. Chicken strips were hand made and generous. This is great place for all to visit!

And absolutely bummer, the wait was long, the servers kept forgetting customers were there. We sat at the bar and we're only offered one drink the whole time. We did not get proper customer service and ended up getting our food to go. Needless to say, we will not be back.
