We had a delightful one-night stay with our two dogs. We appreciated how welcoming they were to us, and the dogs! Room was quiet and very clean. The bed was super comfortable. And best of all, the staff were warm and friendly. We will certainly stay there again when we are in Hood River!

Very big, spacious and clean rooms that were super QUIET as well. Our room was a budget friendly room overlooking the courtyard. It was so nice I felt that we hit the jackpot. The only BIG fail was that they didn't stock any backup toilet paper so I had to call the front desk when this embarrassing discovery was made. Other than that, what was not to love?

We enjoyed our stay at Westcliffe Lodge so much that we stayed a second night! Spacious room with balcony overlooking the Columbia River, plus a couple of acres of land with a firepit and seating. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although there is not a restaurant on site, there are 2 restaurants next door, an easy walk.

We needed a dog friendly hotel for a few nights. This was an ideal place. It was plenty big for myself & my husband. There was a kitchen with all the essentials. One bedroom was towards the back of the unit with a bathroom inside, including a huge soaking tub. The bedroom was big with a closet & window. The other bed was near the front of the unit, out in the open. And the second bathroom was plenty big. Our dog had plenty of room and she was comfortable. We could take her outside for potty breaks and walk around the hotel which had a very large area she loved exploring. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again. It was snowing during our stay so we were inside most of the visit. It’s a beautiful area. It’s right off the freeway but hearing the traffic wasn’t an issue for us.

I've stayed at the Westcliff Lodge many times, and have always enjoyed my stay. I typically stay in a courtyard unit, but the last time staying in one of the original Vagabond Motel units. It needs a few upgrades (wall thermostat), but I slept well and enjoyed the peaceful views, and in-room amenities like the fridge and microwave. I like the fact it has quick access to I-84, but without the freeway noise.

The room we got was fantastic very cozy and comfortable bed. Very nice view of the river! I like how the staff seemed to split people apart from each other in the buildings on the property. The person behind the counter was very kind and showed me how to get to my room in another building and where I could park. Can’t believe booking only calls this a 2 star hotel. Will be staying here next time for sure.

The service was wonderful and kind. The rooms are big and clean with a balcony. I had the most wonderful experience walking around on the grounds. The view is absolutely beautiful!! We will come back again. Thank you 😊

Room was amazingly clean! Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning/heater worked well. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with the room. We will be returning.
