We stopped here before an event in the area for dinner. We didn't realize it was walk up & order or that it was so casual. It wasn't a negative aspect, just unexpected. We sat outside on their picnic style seating, thankfully they have umbrellas which helped from being in the direct sun. I ordered the pork shoulder braised in pumpkin seed mole, served with warm tortillas & taco fixings (shredded cabbage, pickled onions, a jalapeno, cilantro and a lime wedge). It was a big portion and ended up bringing 1/2 home. It was very tasty and loved the pumpkin mole. My husband ordered the Bistec, which was a grilled steak in a creamy mushroom so frio, charred scallions and chili butter. It was also served with warm tortillas & taco fixings. He loved it. He also had a classic margarita which he really enjoyed. Fresh and clean ingredients. We decided we would come back to try the tacos if we are in the area after 4pm (they open at 4pm- and it was a heavier meal than I normally eat at that time, which is just a personal preference). It was a wonderful experience. The staff were all friendly and upbeat.

When Pixan opened, we’d actually drive from pdx go eat. The food was solid, the service was friendly and taco platter was legit with homemade tortillas made it worth the trip.

I brought in three friends tonight…it really fell short.

1. Not one friendly or welcoming gesture.
2. Order at the bar and a tip is expected.
3. When it opened, it was cute, clean and maintained. Today, it’s worn, weathered, and doesn’t look clean. I wiped down our table.

It simply did not feel special or like it stands out in any way. Four of us dined there and spent almost $150. While the food was delivered to our table, we also had to bus our table. The experience was incredibly disappointing.

Delicious, authentic, and so habit-forming! You want to eat these tacos! The black chicken is now one of my favorite things in this world, and I would normally never order the chicken. The carnitas, carne asada, and the potato (no seriously) tacos are great too. Everything is very fresh and made in house. We love everything we've tried so far! Thank you! ♥️

Amazing place with a vibrant scene. I met the owner. He's a down-to-earth guy. I really like this place. I recommend it to everyone, especially hipsters

Stopped in while in town, cannot wait to come back. Margaritas are fantastic, but the main star is the quesatacos! Best vegetarian meal I had on my trip.

It isn’t the typical Mexican food but more like Fusion Mexican.

Everything we ordered was tasty. We shared lamb, pork and fish tacos. Watermelon Salad for a starter since we weren’t very hungry.

We had a choice to Bo eat burgers but so glad we tried this place. It was a weekday but very crowded. If you want indoor dining, I Recommend reservation so you don’t have to wait 30 min in outside table.

The food here is very good. The burrito bowl was very filling after a long day in the mountains. Had a couple tacos, could only finish one because I was so full from the bowl. They like their beans here and give you a lot. I also like beans so that worked well for me. Also enjoyed the agua Fresca. Good chips and salsa.

The service was confusing. Since the last time I ate here it switched to counter-order and self service. it felt a little confusing, but easily navigated. The food was delayed 30-45 minutes (they were busy) but they were upfront about the delay so I wasn’t too upset.

The papas and the mushroom tacos were really good. Had the avocado vanilla shake that was amazing. The loaded fries are more like giant potato wedges, they weren’t bad but our group of three barely made a dent on the plate. Beautiful space, great service.
