Completely shocked this place is still open. You're never truly alone bc of the roaches and bedbugs. The amount they charge per room is too much for what they put you in. It's not even sanitary.

It is what you would expect for the price. It was reasonably clean. There were some roaches in the bathroom. Some other reviews said bedbugs - we checked veryyyy thoroughly and didn't see any. The room has a sizable mini fridge which was nice.

I booked my reservation for 3 nights through a clearing house that partners with Expedia. When I was able to finish my business early I asked the manager about checking out a day early. He explained that because I booked through Expedia I had to make the change through them. I got the royal run-around. When I went to talk to the manager she was actually on the phone with the reservation service & they gave her the run-around too. In the end, the managers made good & cancelled my last night & refunded me the money, even though they will still have to pay them a commission. My room is clean & quiet & the managers have been very welcoming.

Thankfully tiny houses are being made available as this WAS the only place to stay. Bring a can of roach spray. If you need to day sleep bring black out as the drapes have holes. Won't accept a tax exempt letter that other hotels accept.
The 1 benefit is location to restaurants/town. Left as soon as I found a NEW tiny house at half the price.

We were having an impossible time finding a hotel that would take dogs without a ridiculous non-refundable pet deposit. Plus everything was booked for some huge music festival. We ended up talking to Simon at the Economy Inn in Rogersville Alabama. We knew as soon as we got on the phone with him that we were going to be fine. It’s an older hotel in a small town, and it has been really well taken care of. We had a great two night stay. The staff were awesome. We were very grateful for a good place to rest our heads for a couple of nights. Thank you Simon!

This is a great hotel for the low price. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The housekeeper is amazing, and she will go above beyond to make sure you’re taken care of during your stay. The hotel has free WiFi, and there is a covered area where you can sit at the picnic table. You can also grill some burgers or steaks on the grill they have built in on the picnic area. It’s a nice shade tree by the picnic area as well. The hotel is also pet friendly with a small fee.

Roaches were friendly and helped fold down the bed.
This was an emergency due to a plumbing issue on the middle of the night ?. They don't like being woken up ..

Would not recommend it. Booked 3 nights on their website 2 weeks out for $60 per night plus tax. Got there around 11pm at night to check in. When the lady finally came to the front she was very rude and acted like it was a bother she had to wait on me. After signing the check in card the lady said it will be an extra $25 per night making the room $85 per night plus tax. I told her that is not what I booked on their website and I got an email from Sailash Patel who I believe is the owner confirming my reservation. She said the website is not correct and they are supposed to fix it. She said its $85 dollars per night take it or leave it. The hotel is old and it shows, there is no pool, no breakfast so I passed. I took my family to Florence and got a room at a newer Quality Inn for $76 per night with pool and free hot breakfast. They also gave me a military discount. We had a great stay they where super friendly. The Economy Inn or Saliash Patel did not conduct honest business.
