I just bought 2 drinks. I went to use one of my rewards and was told that they always take off the cheapest drink.

That is not true.

I have been coming to Wake-Up Call as a loyal customer for 10 years.

Like 5 day a week habit, at least 2 drinks per order, sometimes more than once a day.

Baristas ALWAYS take the most expensive drink off for the reward.

If Wake-Up Call is going to be so stingy, I am not coming back again.

The baristas are very friendly, the drinks are good, but I just can't stand that corporate nickel and dimeing garbage.

Not only that but Wake-Up Call doesn't pay its staff well enough or provide good enough benefits.

Do better Wake-Up Call.

I love Wake-Up Call in general, but this is my favorite location. The only issue I've had is the cocoa; the first one tasted like hot dirty water, and the second one tasted burnt and still didn't have a chocolate taste whatsoever. When I told an employee after the second time it happened, they apologized and gave me 2 free drinks, which they didn't have to do. But the coffee is always amazing, all the employees are really friendly, and overall, the environment is cozy & welcoming.

Ordered a breakfast sandwich with my coffee order. When she handed it to me she held the top of the bag so I grabbed it from the bottom and instantly burnt my hand. The breakfast sandwich was SO HOT. When I went to eat it, the jelly had burnt off and was black and crisp. It was WAY to overcooked. Not sure how they missed that and served it up anyway.
Other then that, they are fast and the drinks are decent. Would try again next time I'm in town.

The barista was super friendly, and fast when making my drink. She even helped me figure out a custom drink flavor that I had asked about and it ended up being amazing! I will definitely be going back 🙂

Personally I have been to all Wake Up Call stands all around Spokane, and I have never had such horrible experiences at any other stand but this one. The managers don’t know how to be managers and the baristas are rude and don’t know how to treat customers. I am done going to this stand, I also want to mention that I’m pretty sure they don’t check there milk for expiration dates, everytime I got a coffee here my stomach would hurt and cramp so bad. On another note I would also like to say that about a month ago I went through the drive thru and a girl named Sydney was taking my order, she was completely rude and the tone in her voice was so disrespectful towards me (this wasn’t the first time either) so I decided to confront her on her attitude. I also talked to the male manager and since then everytime I see Sydney at the window helping the car in front of me, by the time I get to the window she’s gone. Sounds to me like the manager told her to avoid me, but in all reality she’s a big girl, she just needs to put her big panties on and suck it up, just because she chooses to treat her customers this way, she needs to deal with the consequences of it. I definitely don’t suggest going to this stand, very disappointed with the whole Pines staff.

I order the drink I always get. When she handed it to me I asked her why it was pink and not red. I tasted it and told her it was wrong and asked her if they went light on the blending powder. She was very rude and said she didn’t make it. Didn’t offer to fix it. I spend a lot of money there. On the weekends it usually turns out like crap. Time to switch back to Dutch brothers.

This is my absolute favorite place to grab coffee before work. Mia has introduced me to a couple of new drinks recently that are now on the rotation. She's great to talk to and is fantastic at her craft. The whole crew there is amazing.

I moved to Spokane a few years ago from Colorado, where the coffee world is close to absolutely nothing compared to here. Needless to say, when I relocated I fell deep into the coffee wave. Wake Up Call was the first shop I fell at home to. However, not just any Wake Up Call location. The Pines location is the place to be! My wait is never long, my coffee or redbull always hits the spot and most importantly, the staff is extremely wholesome. I have been lucky enough to come across the sweetest barista at this location, Daisy. Her name fits her personality, sweet as a pea! I will recommend and prefer Wake Up Call Coffee over and over again. Thank you for being my home coffee shop ❤️
