We met Willis and his business today. Wow! Amazing bakery! The style reminded me of living in Germany. We tried the Marion berry scone. He uses very little sugar and the fruit was fresh. I travel a lot and I must say this has to be the best scone I ever had! So recommend this place!

A scone from Olympia Baking, is so much more than a celiac safe treat for me. They are truly the best scones I have had -EVER. Whether you care about gluten or not, the delicious baked goods served by Chef Willis with genuine heart felt community love, will bring you back again and again!

They have a great variety of both savory and sweet scones. These scones are nothing like you have had at Starbucks or another coffee shop. They are MASSIVE and FLUFFY and have a great texture- they’re the kind of thing you could feed your friends and they would never know they are actually gluten free.

I also got a ganache cookie (AMAZING) and a latte.

This is a dedicated gluten free facility only 1 mile from I-5. They have a free parking lot - so no need to hunt for parking.

This is definitely a must- visit if you are local or if you are traveling on I-5 and need a celiac-safe, gluten feee snack or breakfast.

Tried this place for the first time today as I had a friend over who has Coeliac. Absolutely amazing! The scones are so soft and fluffy and have an amazing flavor! I grabbed some for my aunt, who also has a gluten intolerance, and I can not wait to give them to her. The atmosphere was very homey, and the owner was nice and so excited to hear that we found this place! 10 out of 10 will return and be telling lots of people about it!

I should have read the description more carefully, I admit. Was expecting a bigger place with more available. There were two choices, I got the lemon blueberry scone.
Plus- Very attractive scone. Big. Owner was nice and friendly.
Minus- Shop is small, dark and dingy. One scone with a 15% tip was over 13 dollars. I should have walked out right there. Got home, filling was delicious. Scone was very tough, more like a bread roll consistency than a crumbly scone. The icing was nothing special, and a bit overdone.
Wanted to like this small business but meh.

Yummy, yum, yum! I stopped in yesterday, my first visit, and was surprised and pleased by the simplicity of this bakery: gourmet scones and biscuits to go.

I ordered two of each scones options: lemon, Hawaiian, and vegan chocolate chip. All gluten-free and perfectly delicious.

My husband favored the Hawaiian while I took a shine to the chocolate chip. Again, each flavor was delightful and stimulating to our taste buds.

These scones are also the largest that I've ever seen. The six that I brought have been our breakfast for two mornings and an afternoon snack.

My understanding is that fall brings additional food options, as soups are added to the menu. I'm imagining them as equally enjoyable.

If you are in the area, I recommend that you pick up some of the delightful treats provided at Olympia Bakery by a personable and talented baker. Enjoy.

5 stars but my complaint is the food is too good. Showed up at noon and most everything was already sold out and not much left to choose from. So I tried the split pea soup and mixed berry scone. Been gluten free for 15+ years and that was hands down the best scone I’ve had. Soup was excellent. Everything was pricy but it’s so good that I’m willing to pay for 1 meal at a time. I usually get extra but it would’ve cost too much. Next time I’m showing up at opening.

My son and I have been to plenty of bakeries up and down the west coast. We stumbled upon this tiny bakery by smell alone! YES, WE WERE IN THE AREA AND COULD SMELL THE FRESH BAKED GOODS. Turns out we now have a new favorite. Huge fluffy amazing with savory deliciousness options. This is the place. A must try.
