First time stopping by this bakery, I only went in to buy some pastries. I stopped by around 10am and they were already almost out of pastries. I did really enjoy their butterhorn croissant. The service was a little lacking, but this seems to be normal in the city of Olympia in general. If you're in the food and service industry good customer service and smiling goes a long way.

Service was mid. Quick, but not really approachable or friendly. Out of croissants for the breakfast sandwich so they substituted bread. Dry and just not good. I didn't even eat the bread. The eggs remind me of box eggs. The coffee gal left the vanilla out of my drink. Windows are disgusting and light bulbs don't match. Would maybe try again for lunch, but would not recommend. I do however recommend the service at the farmers market and cinnamon bread which is also sold at the farmers market.

Went into the bakery to get a little something for the kiddos, the guy behind the counter seemed annoyed that us and the customer in front of us were still looking since it’s was our first time there. Once we were all ready we watched the employee proceed to grab all the treats with his bare hands and pastry paper while also grabbing the cookies with his hands once they were done picking he cashed them out. He then came to take out our order and my husband asked for gloves, he leaves for a bit comes back and asks “are the gloves for you or me?” You would think if you’re handling food you should probably wear gloves and not touch our food with your bare hands. Also the kids said the muffins were good but it was chocolate and they love Dino nuggets so…

We ordered a breakfast croissant and ham sandwich. The menu said the croissant was supposed to include a “fruit cup and treat”. The oranges were all we got as a fruit cup. The did not ask what we wanted for a treat and gave my mom a cake with walnuts which she is allergic to. She approached and ask why she didn’t get a fruit cup and asked for a substitute treat. She was treated extremely rudely. They asked her if she was “really allergic” and then gave her a chocolate chip cookie that was not good. Both of our sandwiches were bad and mine was so cold it was almost frozen. We could get past bad food if the employees were kind but they were rude and unfriendly.

Are European eggs green? Order had a simple mix up had to have it fixed no problem. New order took 20 minutes while it was slow only to be served grose tasting green eggs on breakfast sandwich. Which was on plain toasted white bread since they had used the last croissant in our last order. Not a great $35 coffee /breakfast. Free carrot cake was delicious.

Highly recommend the almond poppyseed muffins with raspberry jam on top or the strawberry cheese danish. Always very consistent. Fairly priced, I wish they displayed their prices in the cases though. The staff have been a little stand offish every time I’ve been in, not enough that I’d normally complain but since I’ve seen other reviews mention it I thought I would too.

We were really excited to try this place, but the baked goods were just not good. The lemon bar had no lemon flavor and just tasted like a sugary short bread crust, the chocolate mousse bomb tasted like boxed chocolate pudding that used half as much flavor as it should. The rice crispy treat did not have enough marshmallows, the carrot cake was dry.
The dogs did seem to enjoy the cheese danish we got them, so can give a star for that.
Definitely don't get the cold brew - it tastes like dirt (usually a sign it has been sitting too long and mildewed) and then they add water to it after its poured.
This place is not worth checking out.
