Great atmosphere and excellent food. They were happy to accommodate dietary restrictions.
Our order was shrimp&grits and French toast, both were next level. Shane was a funny and great server.

My husband and I were in Tuscaloosa for one night staying at The Embassy Suites (awesome choice) for an early morning dental appointment. Since we missed the breakfast offered at the hotel, we stopped at Big Bad Breakfast around 9:30. We were greeted by a hostess who took us directly to a table. Our server was very courteous and helped us navigate through the menu. I ordered a latte and my husband ordered coffee. Both were delicious. When we ordered breakfast I specified no onions on my avocado toast. My husband ordered the Breakfast Plate, over easy. Our meals were brought to our table by the manager, Tracy. She blew my mind because she mentioned she noticed I specified no onion on the avocado toast so as a courtesy, she put the pico de gallo in a separate bowl since it has onions!!! ? How’s THAT for paying attention! Our food was absolutely delicious and hot. We ended up ordering a sliced turkey sandwich to go for our ride home. And yup-no onions! We both raved about the food and the bathrooms were spotless! I highly recommend Big Bad Breakfast. Great job Tracy! Kudos to the back of the house too!

Thanks to Adam for the great Vanilla-honey latte. He did a good job managing the packed restaurant. I had the "yard work" pan and blackberry jam.

Absolutely wonderful experience at Big Bad Breakfast in Tuscaloosa. The manmosa is unmatched and the breakfast wrap is a must try. Beyond how amazing the drinks, food, sanitation, and atmosphere was I was blown away by the kindness of the staff. My server, Becca, was attentive and had great suggestions without even having to ask. Also, the manager, Mo, went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. Mo and Becca were extremely friendly, aware, and helpful. This experience was notable compared to my other dining experiences because of the people who work here. Thank you Mo and Becca for making a simple breakfast so special.

We had breakfast/brunch here today and had the best experience. I believe our servers name was Adam, and he was fantastic. Service was hands down 10/10. He was knowledgeable of the menu, so friendly and took great care of us. He really made us feel welcome, and made the experience just that much better. The restaurant is beautiful, would be a great place to bring clients or friends/family from out of town (or meet local friends for breakfast, brunch, or lunch) it is spotless clean in there. The food was amazing. 10/10. Everything was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and plated beautifully. We both genuinely enjoyed our meals, and had plenty to take home. The menu has something for everyone, the drink menu has lots of options, the portion sizes are huge, and the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back, Tuscaloosa is lucky to have this place! Definitely recommend supporting this business! Job well done, BBB!!

Ahhh, much better than last time! We gave BBB another try and were not disappointed. We were directed to sit at a table, but upon request, we were given a comfortable booth. I enjoyed the house coffee which was good, but next time I will try and americano. The tea selection was lacking. My wife ordered a veggie omelet with "greens." The greens turned out to be salad greens (with an excellent vinaigrette) and not southern (turnip) greens. Delicious! The omelet was made with goat cheese and it was perfectly prepared. I just had scrambled eggs with bacon and biscuit. The biscuit was served with a choice of jams - not little preserve packets. The bacon was perfect, crispy and sweat. I wish pancakes were served as a side dish. I also had the grapefruit brulee. That was excellent - a grapefruit half with honey or sugar that had been flamed on top. Nice touch. It is a beautiful restaurant with a southern football vibe. So glad we tried it again, and it did not disappoint!

Great breakfast and awesome service. Had the Big Bad Skillet and it was awesome as well as filling! Atmosphere is great to with big windows to allow natural light in. For locals go when students are not in school, not a wait . When students are in , sometimes you can expect a wait but not to long.
