We had a late lunch at Pelligrino’s today, our first time in. The ciabatta rolls were freshly made and warm. They serve you just enough oil and balsamic to dip each roll as much as you’d like. The spinach and artichoke dip was very good, albeit not fully mixed and we had a few clumps of cream cheese. The tortilla chips were delicious and seasoned. For entrees we enjoyed the chicken Alfredo and chicken Parmesan. The sauces were incredible! I was not a fan of the texture of the chicken breast, it tasted boiled to me rather than grilled like I’m accustomed. The chicken Parmesan was a bit under seasoned to my liking, but otherwise tasty. The crème brûlée was one of the best I’ve ever had, 10/10. My fiancé is a cannoli aficionado and they were a bit sweet, missing the classic chips on the end of the cannoli and instead they are mixed in. Still devoured though!

I've always been satisfied with Pellegrino's portion sizes until today. Normally, I receive a generous serving that justifies the cost, but today I felt as though I was given less than expected. It would be nice to have the “half portion of Sicilian chicken” be stated on the menu instead of surprising customers when they get their food. While the quality of the food is always excellent, the reduced portion size is something I’ll have to consider moving forward if I continue as a customer.

No realistic waiting time. We called and informed but still waited for an hr.

We ordered many items but nothing was great or amazing. All items are just OK! Their deserts are really bad n too much sweet/sugary.

Across from the cemetery, this restaurant is alive and breathing on any given weekend night. Plenty of lovely folks enjoying hearty Italian American fare in either the first or second floor dining areas or out in the auxiliary eatery. Come hungry for these whopping Tumwater sized portions. Leave any Tuscan sensibilities at the door.

The gnocchi I ordered was fabulous. The crème brûlée was delicious and a good size. Our entire table enjoyed their meals. The non- alcoholic drinks were amazing! The service was very good too!

We were so pleased with our experience at Pellegrinos! They seated us promptly and checked on us a lot despite us being the only outdoor diners. The bread was delicious and we loved our food (Northern Chicken Parmesan and Tomato Basil Gnocchi with mushrooms added). We had more than enough food for a second meal and feel we had great value for the price.

We ordered, from DoorDash, a very special birthday dinner for my friend who is turning 74. We ordered chicken piccata with garlic bread and a Caesar salad with extra dressing. We also ordered extra sauce and were charged for extra sauce for the chicken piccata. Unfortunately, what we received was chicken scallopini, which has pancetta in it and he does not eat pork so we ended up throwing that entire entrée away. The other issue is the garlic bread. Normally their garlic bread is absolutely delicious, it was dry and flavorless, almost as if it was stale. It is so very unfortunate. We used to order from Pellegrino’s all the time, their chicken piccata is the best we have ever tasted. I am so disappointed in this restaurant. We did receive a credit from DoorDash so we are only out a tip and a delivery fee, which is completely understandable. Something so simple as checking the order before it’s bagged for DoorDash would’ve prevented this mistake and prevented them from losing a customer. I understand that mistakes are made, but this was so completely preventable with a 30 second check of the food before it went out.
Update: I called right after receiving the order to let them know about the error, the gentleman I spoke with said he was going to the office to find the manager. He then came back on and said the manager was not in the office and he was going to look around the restaurant for the manager. He came back on the line again, took my name and number and said he would have the manager call me right away. I’ve never received a call. When this restaurant is good, it’s really good. I can only recommend never order through a delivery service, you need to check every order yourself to make sure it is right. Very sad that their manager doesn’t care enough to call even just to offer a quick apology. They lost a customer.
UPDATE: the General Manager, Kenzi, just called and let me know that the note, with my phone number, had been misplaced and she just found it. Kenzi was very apologetic and is sending an email gift card. I am very happy with this solution and her acknowledgement of the mistake and we will definitely be giving Pelligrinos another shot.

I ordered via DoorDash, and had a few requests. I asked for a vegetarian antipasto platter, with extra cheese and bread, which I have gotten before, and you can see that there's almost no extra anything in place of the meat. The bread that I received can barely enough for a regular order, see attached. I paid $23 for that!

Secondly, one of my favorite things in the past has been to get an order of garlic bread and dip it in Creamy Tomato Pesto sauce. I was given marinara instead. I almost thought about putting in a note to please check to make sure that it's the correct sauce since I've been looking forward to this all day and because I have been given the incorrect sauce in the past, but I didn't want to be insulting to the staff.

I asked for extra strawberry sauce for the cassatta cake, and extra caramel sauce for the zeppoles, neither of which arrived. Both are new to me, but I won't eat them without sauce so we'll likely have to toss both of those dishes, as well.

I am fine with being charged extra. I do not want to get food that I can't eat, though--as I am one of those people that usually sticks to a regimented diet. When I treat myself, I like extra sauce (and bread)!

I am really, really disappointed. I reached out to the restaurant and never heard back. They've lost a loyal customer.
