The rooms are clean, the staff are nice, and there is a hot breakfast. The deposit is only $50. The downside, and yes, there are a lot of downsides. First, the third floor is under construction. Next, the hotel decided to shut down the indoor pool and spa during the remodel. Even though the third floor is under construction, it is still accessible to guests by the elevator. In that, it is not locked out via a key. Instead, blue tape is placed over the button. It can accidently be hit, and the floor will be triggered. Which means a child could stumble onto the floor and be injured. I reported this to the hotel and was given the response. When work crews were working, a worker watched the door. As a mother of grown children, I recommend not staying at this location with kids. Another issue encountered at the stay was that one elevator did not work, which was indicated by a "wet floor sign." The second elevator kept stalling between floors. When I noticed staff, a worker said, "it's not broken, I'll tell maitenance." On to my room, I sat in my desk chair and fell backward onto the floor and sprained my back. The desk chair was broken. I reported to the front desk, and they said they would shut the room down. A bit of overkill, I think they could just replace the chair. I tried to contact customer service for an insurance claim, and it's been unsuccessful because I booked through Priceline, and my booking number doesn't line up with their number. As a side note, and a little weird, the reclining chair in the room had huge scratches and was wet for reasons that made my mind question. I've included pictures. This may have once been a beautiful hotel, I can see it in the lobby, in the staff training and friendliness, in the way the maids clean, and I've stayed in the first floor rooms twice happily. But anything above the first floor is a nightmare to be certain. Any problem that arises will not be addressed by corporate customer service without hiring an attorney. You may as well stay at another hotel or go camping.

Good afternoon. I wanted to take the time, since I have stay at the Olympia location for over a week.

I have gotten acquainted with quite a few of the staff members, as well as the live-in help for renovations on the 2nd floor of the establishment. Such a pleasant crew!

Housekeeping, though on a "request only" (of which, I only came to find out the next night, as Mariah informed me.).

Carson was very helpful and entertaining! Great sales manager!

Chantelle was very curt, but helpful.

John was great overnight, providing last second needs.

The manager of the hotel (of whom, I never had the pleasure, face-to-face) was seemingly, unempathetic to the patrons of the hotel. Perhaps, due to the renovations? Fairly, unkind to patrons.

I hope this has been helpful.

This location is currently undergoing renovations, and they were upfront about the noise and temporary mess, which we appreciated. However, we had an extremely uncomfortable experience when a worker staying on the property was video recording me and my young children. Thankfully, the front desk clerk, Maria, was incredibly sweet and accommodating, quickly helping us transfer to a different floor. The new room was clean, but the beds and pillows were quite firm. I’d consider staying again once renovations are complete, but I hope they address security concerns for guests' peace of mind.

This is a great hotel which I am sure will be even better once the renovations are complete.
We stayed in the two bedroom suite. Yes, it is pretty worn but we're going to give it another chance this summer when the renovations should be complete.
Housekeeping was stellar. The breakfast was okay. It is now those omelets most other hotels who have complimentary breakfast serve, then either sausage or bacon.
I'll review again this summer!

Nice area, friendly staff, inviting lobby, great breakfast, clean rooms, air conditioning didn’t work in 2 rooms probably due to construction. Upgraded furniture in 331 and nice bathroom flooring, shower tile, and wallpaper. This is our favorite hotel when we visit Olympia at least twice a year.

Very decent hotel not too far from downtown Olympia. Undergoing renovation, but still functional and convenient. Friendly and efficient desk staff, good clean room. Easy check in, check out. The breakfast was generous if not outstanding; the coffee, for a limited hotel breakfast was surprisingly good. We asked for a quiet room and got one.||A few issues: a clogged sink in the bathroom. Found it too late in the evening to call in about it. Should have been seen to before we arrived at our room. Secondly, the parking lot is small and you may have to park well away from the front entrance. This can be a big problem if it's raining outside. The breakfast choices are somewhat limited.

We have chosen to stay at this Ramada as our hotel of choice for the past several years Price for quality, hands down, Ramada is the best hotel in this area. |*The staff members are extremely friendly & helpful.|*The beds are comfortable & the pillows are the most plush I've experienced at a hotel. |*The water stays nice & hot during showers & the pressure is consistently good on all floors. |*The complimentary breakfast has a great spread & wide variety. The fresh baked muffins & jalapeño & cheese bagels are two of our favorites.|*The only thing we were not pleased by is the pool/hot tub being closed for maintenance during our most recent stay. Additionally the hot tub jets have been out of commission for a very, very long time.

Thieves smashed two of the windows in my vehicle and stole $8k worth of inventory for my business. They did the same thing to someone else's vehicle here the same night.

This could have been avoided if the hotel would simply hire a live security guard to sit in the parking lot. It may not be cheap but it is cheaper than losing all your customers and going out of business.

This has happened to me both times I came to this area in the past 3 years. Thieves cruise up and down the freeway and case the parking lots of hotels along the way. Any hotel that does not have 24hr security in the parking lot is going to get hit repeatedly and lose their customers. It's as simple as that.

I am bumping them up to 2 stars because the employees were very sympathetic and helpful when it came to getting security footage to the police and helping me vacuum up all the broken glass.

This is an epidemic in the Seattle to Portland area and will require hotel operators to pay for security to protect their customers' property so they can continue to be customers. Obviously no businessman on the road can afford to have their vehicle damaged and property stolen so I won't be back to this hotel or any in the area until I find one with the appropriate security.
