Rooms are immaculately clean, staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect for walking.

We took the train on this adventure- it was 0.6 miles UPHILL to the hotel. But it will be downhill on the way back. Haha!

So many food and fun options within blocks of here. Many for families or without kiddos.

And the VIEW! Gorgeous.

I’ll start with the positive: the hotel staff was friendly and welcoming, which was appreciated. Check-in and out process was easy and the location is fantastic.However, the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired.

The pool was in terrible condition—filthy and clearly not maintained. There was trash everywhere and not a clean towel in site. We told the front desk but nobody seemed to bother. The gym wasn’t much better with dirty equipment and overflowing garbage cans. Our room was the biggest issue: there were visible blood stains on the furniture, which was beyond unacceptable.

It would have also been nice to know that the building across the street had a clock tower that chimes all night long. Not a huge issue with the windows closed but we had to keep them open to air out the rooms musty smell.

While the staff was great, the overall conditions of the hotel made it very difficult to enjoy our stay. Definitely would not recommend unless some major improvements are made.

Comfortable room, Bistro was good. Rogelio made a great cup of coffee. He and the other gentleman working there always had a smile on their face. Check in staff was not welcoming or friendly. Asked for only towels for the few days we stayed. Never got towels or trash removed. Had to ask for more towels. My first time at a Marriott property. Not impressed.

Perfect location for us near the Imagine Children's Museum (rooftop playground seen from our room!)
Really like the security for the garage and access to the rooms.
Super nice staff from the front desk and bistro, to the housekeeping staff.
Limited menu in the bistro, but very tasty.

The Courtyard sits in the center of Downtown Everett, around the corner Angel of Winds Casino. Small but great view of Colby Avenue. Nice spacious Dining room & Event halls. Conference rooms are nice & professional too. I highly recommend for a group gathering, celebration, or any formal events.

First issue, nobody told me there was a deposit of $100 being held, was concerned I got overcharged $100.
Second issue, no heat in my room. Took my children swimming and tried to turn the heat up when we came back. They sent someone to look at it, basically "confirm" it didn't work? She was great and was helping me for over an hour. Had to move rooms, said they have no double queens left and would a king with a fold out bed be ok. I had originally said yes, first room had no pullout bed, second room, no pull out bed, third room had one, but it's twin sized and that wouldn't work. Finally she puts me in a double queen (she "didn't" have) the TV doesn't work, the ice machine on this floor doesn't work. Can't go to a different floor because your room card won't let you. I also noticed this room has toiletries such as soap, shampoo, the first room didn't. You have to pay $20 night parking if you don't want a bunch of junkies bothering you. Even then, I come down this morning and there's a homeless guy sleeping in the lobby. I inform staff and they say they've called the police twice. I have stayed at Motel 6 with better experience than this!! I will NEVER stay here again and will be reaching out to corporate!!

I toured this hotel site before booking multiple rooms for family and friends to stay at while in town. I was pleased with amenities, proximity to restaurants, and adequate parking. ||The day we arrived to check in, we waited an hour to get room keys. The lobby was filled with people who had been waiting longer than us. The person who was working the front came from down the hallway and was very apologetic. She said she was on the only person working because everyone else called put. She had been in another guest room trying to get their TV to work. She checked me in for three king suites and sent me on my way. ||When I got to my room the television set in the living room area did not work. I went back to the front and reported it and the lady asked if I had a laptop to hook up to the tv because she couldn't help me beyond that suggestion. ||The room was very clean and spacious. I felt safe in the garage which appeared to be shared with the law enforcement because I saw several police vehicles parked. ||Starbucks is in the lobby and they got customers through fairly quick. ||I

Quite disappointed with our stay. We selected this hotel for 'pet friendliness,' and for the fact that it's close to the train station. The booking was typical for online, and received a standard confirmation email. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and professionally by desk agent Gandhi, his presence and smile was the highlight of our stay. Additional paperwork upon check-in revealed that it was additional $100 non-refundable to have a pet overnight. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, and my Mom was glad for the parking garage available--additional $19. We thought we'd have breakfast before the train, being told it was "full breakast, not continental" at the check-in desk. Yes, for $12 per person additional; we opted no. Altogether with the various fees/ charges, I ended up paying near to $300 at check-in---as a budget traveller, this is more than I've ever paid for an overnight anywhere--and it wasn't even that special or gracious. Today, I noticed an additional aftercharge fee in my email, for $10 additional. I called to clarify what this was for, and was told it was because we drank (2) bottled 'Life Water' from the room. We did not. I brought my own reusable bottle from home, and we'd been given a bottle at the check-in counter. This last charge certainly added insult to injury. The agent I spoke with acted completely powerless to 1) believe me 2) do anything functional about it---ah, corporate 'merica's business specialty.
This place is built for people travelling through their business expense accounts it seems. A gracious space in a neighborhood that's trying to re-frame; I'm afraid this place is shooting itself in the foot in lost possibilities of truly welcoming and attending to regional travelers who have other reasons to come to Everett. Would not stay again, and do not recommend.
Hot tub was nice tho!
