They were there for an event, my company used them for catering. To be completely honest, I hate to say this, but the food was very very sub par. I didnt have the pineapple chicken (that was the only thing that was completey gone, that was probably good) but the other chicken they had was insanely dry and not tasteful. The mac and cheese was... okay. The salad was good. Heard good things about the bread, overall though, I couldnt recommend this catering company unfortunately sorry guys. Wish I could give you a better rating.

Joy's Affordable Catering was the best catering experience for my wedding that I could have hoped for. The food was incredible (especially her summer salad-that made my taste buds sing). Excellent value for everything that was provided. Additionally, Joy and her team were punctual, easy to work with, very kind and fastidious. Unfortunately, due to Covid, a number of our guests had to bow out last minute which left a considerable amount of food. Joy volunteered to take the remaining extra food to a shelter, which was just awesome. Ten Stars out of Five!

Joy did such an excellent job of my sons wedding serving over 150 people there . The menu was awesome she prepared fresh caught salmon, cod fish and beef ..She paid attention to every detail and I had so many compliments on the food . Good job Joy! Thank you for making our special night very memorable I would recommend her and would use her again !

Joy Max catered my wedding. She seemed to be one step ahead everything. The food was delicious, served hot and on time. Her staff was also one step ahead of everything they did, they were very courteous and went out of their way to make sure that our reception dinner was a great success.
I would highly recommend Joy Max Catering to anyone that asked.

We were NOT pleased with our experience. Food wasn't hot, we never received the services that were promised. For instance she forgot to cut our cake up also package up all the leftovers. She chose not to put hot chafing dishes underneath the food so it would stay hot. She did not once come up to us personally during our wedding and ask how things were or if anything else needed to be done before her and her staff took off. Not once did we see Joy Max only Helen her associate to halfway apologize for not having enough ice water out for guests during a hot summer day. In which they said they would provide icetea , lemonwater and lemonade. That too was also not done entirely as talked about. Also we never got a straightforward bill of where our 4000 dollars went to and for what. The communication was discombobulated and extremely unprofessional. She bombarded me with three emails 2 days before my wedding about things that should have been taken care of weeks before. If you're looking for a caterer in the Everett area I suggest you look elsewhere.
