The coffee is great! I ordered a pumpkin spice latte, and it is so good! The environment is very friendly; and they are very traditional and honest about our Ethiopian culture! Will definitely come again.

Update—beginning of August 2024:

Went for breakfast and coffee and once again the atmosphere was great (relaxed, community-oriented) and the coffee and food was good.

They had a mango-avocado smoothie special that was INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS. Highly recommend trying that if they repeat it.
It was so good I've forgotten what I actually ate for breakfast even though it was good too, LOL. Totally obsessed with the smoothie and have told so many others about it so they can visit (or try to replicate if out of the area).

So excited that this spot has finally opened!

Went and tried their espresso and my friend had a mocha, both good. If we hadn't just had a large breakfast we would have tried the pastries but we'll definitely be returning so we will get to those.

In addition to the coffee being organic (and they roast it themselves!) I noticed that they used organic milk for my friend's drink--I try to keep my diet as organic as possible so this was really appreciated.

I was surprised (and delighted) to learn that one can request a ceremonial tea any time--when you walk in (if it's just a couple of people) or by calling ahead to let them know you have a party that is interested in it.
It's something I've been aware of for quite some time but never took the time to experience and it looks like the universe is insisting that I do it.

I definitely recommend that others drop in to try this place out. Support a local business selling good product!

I was in the area so stopped in for some coffee. The barista was lovely, the atmosphere was calming, and the coffee was delicious. Of note, they offer the traditional Ethiopian & Eritrean coffee ceremony -- Habesha!

Excellent coffee and service. Freshly roasted Ethiopian coffee. Love the vibe of the place. If you want a pleasant coffee place where you want to talk with few people, this is it in this area.

Popped in on a Sunday, when they’re closed. But they were so nice and made us a drink anyway since the machine was on anyway. Coffee was excellent, and service was exemplary!!
