Oh my goodness! Just finished eating a big lunch here and I cant be happier than this! The atmosphere, the friendly and respectful staff and the delicious food make Train Wrech Bar & Grill to one of my favourite restaurants in this area. We tried the Hazy IPA called Sierra Nevada Hazy Little thing i and for the food I ordered mushroom burger and my husband tried the Elk burger.... Both absolutely tasty and delicious... Highly recommended especially if you are on a ski or mountaineering trip.... This fills your stomach with joy and happiness & Cant wait for the next visit

Went here on the recommendation of the front desk staffer of the hotel I stayed at. Was very glad we listened! Our server, Lessi, was great and steered us right. Started with the onion rings, which were light and crisp. I got the elk burger with sweet potatoes and it was delicious. The peach lemonade topped off an excellent dinner. If you like spice, try the house made jalapeno ketchup. I'll be having my leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Great vibes, great food.

Ahi tacos are to die for! The fish, the toppings the sauces, perfection!

The burger on the other hand, I have to wonder if it was the cooks first day, or if that’s just how they always are. it was at best mediocre but had potential to be really good! I ordered the southwest veggie burger. For some reason it came out with raw jalapeños, I asked the waiter about it and she said that’s not how it’s supposed to be and brought out the house pickled jalapeños for me to throw on, which were very good! The patty tasted good but it had no structure, more like a sloppy Joe than a patty, but still good, I couldn’t taste the sauce cause they hardly put any on it, I should have just asked for more but I felt bad after asking for the jalapeños (they were really busy). and then the bun was so soft the whole burger just fell apart when I first picked it up. Like eating a cloud. It was tasty, it just seemed like the bun should be toasted and more sauce and structure to the patty and the correct jalapeños, woulda been really good if it came out like that! I won’t order it again though. Honestly we wouldn’t have come back if all we got was the burger. $5 drive in burgers are better.

Regular Fries were soggy but sweet potato fries were good! Again not sure if they always serve soggy fries or if they had a new guy working the line.

Service was great! Super friendly and helpful staff, I overheard them handling this rude older couple who were being total piss ants about everything and the staff was impressively sweet to them.

Atmosphere is clean and cute!

We wanted the brownie bomb but we were on a tight schedule and had to split.

We will be back for more tacos and a brownie!

Bloody Mary in the mason jar is the bomb. I have only been here for breakfast and it is very good and large portions so you can share if your a small eater. The inside of the bar is so cool. Love all the décor and wood. Service is great. I love the railroad glasses that they have as well. Very fun place to stop if your in the area

LOVE LOVE LOVE. food. Vibe. Staff. Everything is made from scratch in house and you can taste the difference. Fresh ans crisp. The flavor combinations on the dishes pop and everything is excellent. We went back 2x In a week it was so good. Their merch shop is fun too! Def worth checking out, and don't forget to grab some gear!

It's one of those places that I wish I lived closer to. What a great menu. There are so many options to drool over. The atmosphere was as good as the food.
