I have a huge to do list, but I'm stopping to write this review. I have been enjoying Fildalgo's 'Organic Italian Roast' for a few years now. I make it at home and often bring it on the road to make in my stove top espresso. I traveled this weekend to run a 50k. I did not bring my coffee. Now I am back and I just had a sip and its feels life changing. Enough to pause and write this.

Made in a stove top espresso it is one of the most spectacular cups of coffee I have ever had. It reminds me of the best espresso made coffee I have had in Italy. Smokes whatever I have had in Spain and France. Perhaps Melbourne comes close... and in these cases I'm talking about hand pulled espresso. I'm making this cup on a 30 dollar stove top stainless steel Bialetti. It brings out this roast to create a round rich body that somehow seems to have substance beyond the beans and water it is made from. Soul enriching. Each sip gives me feelings of vigor, happiness and hope. A balance of sweet, bitter and astringent.

Its a cup so good I know I can only have two, but that second one will never be as good as the first. It cant be. Just like how you can never quite go home... I will strive today, I will strive hard enough to hope to earn my sleep fast and when I wake tomorrow I know I will have an ally in this Fildago's 'Organic Italian Roast' and for a brief moment my thoughts will course with pleasant memories half remembered of far off places as I sit cozy in my home and plan and act of things to do and dream of memories not yet made.

We order Sunset Blend coffee 12-13 times a year. It’s phenomenal coffee and the roast date is always near to when they ship your order.

It never takes more than a day between order and receipt.

Their customer service is second to none. I have made a couple absent minded orders of the pre-ground stuff over the last couple of years and they have gone as far as to send me fresh whole bean replacements out of the goodness of their hearts.

We recommend Fidalgo to anyone who will listen!

Great coffe! Local roaster that has its substance together. We buy whole bean (usually 50% caf and 50% decaf). Highly recommend.

Big fans of Fidalgo Coffee! We enjoy stopping by the warehouse office and buying directly from them! The staff is friendly and they always have specials! So many options and they will grind the coffee for you. Added bonus…it smells amazing there.

Been a lover of Fidalgo Coffee for MANY years. I send the beans to family as gifts. It’s that good! Also, I live close to the roasting plant so go to the little store there to buy my coffee beans..Friendly, neighborly help is always there!
Lastly, , I take coffee beans, as a gift, when visiting a friend.. I sew little cloth “coffee bag”to house the coffee and then put it on the counter next to their coffee pot when I arrive. People love the coffee! Thanks Fidalgo for all that coffee over the years!

I have been a subscriber to this coffee for a few years now. The coffee is outstanding! The seasonal coffees are always a crowd pleaser with us and our guests. Many places have great coffee these days but this company is set apart by their customer service. Today I had a small issue with shipping an order to an old address, they went above and beyond to correct the issue in the fastest time I have ever encountered! Way to go! I’ll remain a loyal customer:)
