I recently visited Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen in the Alderwood Mall area in Lynnwood to celebrate my birthday and ordered the Thai Red Chicken Curry, Pad Thai set, and a fresh coconut. While the food was flavorful and the portions were satisfying, I felt that this outlet didn’t quite match the quality of their Kirkland outlet. The flavors were a bit milder, and the presentation didn’t have the same finesse I’ve enjoyed at their other location. However, the ample parking made it convenient, and the overall experience was pleasant.

Summary:
Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen is a fantastic spot for authentic Thai food. My wife and I came for dinner, and we were thoroughly impressed with the authenticity and flavors. The curry was exceptional, and while the papaya salad was a bit too spicy for us, the other dishes were adjusted perfectly to our spice preference. I’m giving it five stars for the overall taste, authenticity, and excellent service. If you’re a fan of Thai food, this place is a must-visit, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing dinner. The restaurant has a cozy yet vibrant vibe that complements the bold flavors of the food. It’s an ideal spot for both casual dinners and special occasions.

Authenticity (5/5):
The food here is very authentic, and that’s what really impressed me. The curry we tried had a rich and traditional Thai flavor, exactly what you’d hope for. The papaya salad, while delicious, was a bit too spicy at the level we chose (3), but the staff made sure the spice levels for the rest of our dishes were just right.

Flavor (5/5):
The flavor of the dishes was spot-on. The curry was rich, well-balanced, and full of the vibrant spices that make Thai cuisine so delicious. While the papaya salad was spicier than we anticipated, the other dishes were adjusted to the perfect spice level for us. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes like their pad Thai, which we haven’t had a chance to sample yet.

Cost (4.5/5):
The prices were reasonable for the quality and authenticity of the food. The portions were satisfying, and considering the excellent taste and service, it’s well worth the price.

Service (5/5):
The service at Isarn Thai Soul Kitchen was top-tier. The staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to accommodate our spice level request on the other dishes. The overall dining experience was smooth and enjoyable thanks to their excellent service.

Tips for Visiting:

1. Be cautious with spice: The papaya salad at level 3 was too spicy for us, but the staff adjusted the spice level on the other dishes we ordered, so don’t hesitate to ask for modifications if you prefer a milder experience.
2. Try the curry: The curry was recommended to us, and it didn’t disappoint. If you’re unsure what to order, this is a great choice.
3. Great service: The staff are attentive and quick to accommodate requests, making the dining experience even better.
4. Plan to try more: We didn’t get to try the pad Thai this time, but based on the flavors of what we did order, I’m excited to return and explore more of the menu.

This isn't traditional Thai, but regionally connected to the northeastern area of Thailand. The cuisine is spectacular and the service on point. The dining area isn't spacious, but perfect for their purposes.

Very tasty and the staff were lovely. One dish was very mild when level 2 spice was requested (out of 3) and the beef for that dish as well was cooked to rare rather than medium rare but still tasted good. Everything else was great.

Isarn in Lynnwood is my favorite Thai spot. I’ve been here several times and it never disappoints. I typically start with an appetizer like the Mini Isarn Wings, which I am addicted to now. They have a unique sweet saucy flavor. I also ordered the pork strips which is a nice crunch and goes great with the fried garlic.

The Thai Beef Salad is a good balance for protein and veggies. I got the 3 star spicy level. They really do make it spicy, just fyi. For dessert, the Seasonal Mango Sticky Rice was a delight, with ripe mango and creamy, sweet sticky rice enhanced by coconut milk. The service and drinks are always great too!

Great spot for Thai! I got a chicken curry with noodles and the portion was very generous for lunch. At a 1 spicy level I felt it was pretty mild and tasted great. The chicken was super tender. My friend got the fried rice and that was fantastic. Service was friendly and quick. The interior was cute with lots of vintage rattan elements.

We celebrated my step-daughter's birthday there recently, and wow, everything about this place was wonderful! It was my first time eating here, and I think this is now my favorite Thai restaurant. Delicious food presented beautifully on the plate, exquisitely fresh herbs and spices to delight your taste buds, no joke! 🍲🥗🥣🍚🫖🧋🥢🍽Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food, and the service was outstanding with friendly, attentive staff. We will definitely be making this our regular go-to for Thai! 😋

This restaurant is our go-to spot for comfort food, and it never disappoints. The crab fried rice and pad kee mao are highly recommended, and the crab stir fry in yellow curry is particularly flavorful. The service is fast and excellent, making for a pleasant dining experience. Don't miss the young tender coconut drinks—they’re refreshing, and you can scrape out the coconut after you’re done.
