We came here for lunch and to stamp our passports en route back to Seattle and we had enjoyed ourselves a lot. The games (shuffleboard, pool, etc) were a super fun options, and the ambiance with all the historical aspects and plants made it even more special. I’d love to return for a movie and wish we had a place similar in our neighborhood of White Center Seattle.

This review is most importantly being written to give a shout out to our bartender/waitress Chelsea. She was spectacular—extremely friendly, welcoming, and took her time to assist us regardless of being busy. With my multiple food sensitivities/allergies, she was willing to make suggestions and adjustments to my meal. She was understanding and made me feel understood.

My one piece of feedback from this and a past visit is the need to do something about the historic men’s urinal. It is extremely unpleasant with a stench of urine. My father owned a pub and we used to pour bleach and old ice in there to help rinse it. Nonetheless, the bathroom requires air fresheners or something to help, especially being so close to the restaurant and bar.

All in all, will still return but had to share my feedback.

Waitstaff was lovely and the location was very interesting. There was some trouble getting seated, but it seemed like a busy night, so that's not what I took issue with. The food just was not anywhere good enough to justify the price. At twelve dollars for fries, I expect either a large quantity or a high quality, unfortunately they were stringy and aggressively mediocre. Over twenty dollars for a salad that doesn't even come with a protein is down right delusional, and a 35 dollar steak should be larger than the size of my palm.

There was also some shenanigans going on with substituting ingredients without asking us if it was alright. One person at my party ordered a dish that specifically listed focaccia bread as included. Instead they were served the bun to a sub sandwich with some butter on it. The Mac and cheese appeared to be made with Alfredo sauce rather than the multiple cheeses promised, and a pizza listed to include greens and truffle sauce on top came out with only sliced mushrooms as a topping.

Honestly was just a massive disappointment that came with an equally massive bill. I can't recommend anyone eating here, but I did not try the bar or the cinema, maybe that's better. The waitstaff were amazing though, funny and friendly even when the restaurant was packed.

I love taking my kids movie theater. The couches and historical vibe are fun, and tater tots and beer are way better movie treats than what toy can get at a typical theater. The only bummer is that they rarely show movies we are interested in watching.

Went tonight to have date night with the husband and was pleasantly surprised there was some booths available. The booths were being wiped off. Spoke to the waitress and she told us it would be a few minutes wait, which was ok. We sat at an open small table nearby to wait. A fellow waitress came over to firmly tell us it will be 10 minutes so she can clean the area and do a on e over before anyone will be seated in that area. We have always enjoyed eating here. Always worth waiting for. But that attitude was not the norm for the fair staff we have usually encountered. Hoping this is a one off and a better experience next time.

Great place for a date night or day. Love to go to a movie at the theater and great deal on burger and a movie day. Beer selection is great! Favorite is the Amber. It smells incredible from the wood burning stove - however if you are highly sensitive I’d check it out before committing to a full evening. The wood smell can be strong sometimes. Back patio and other things to do there like pool.

#1 VERY comfy bedding and pillows!|#2 Lots of fluffy towels and bathrobe!|#3 Yes, you share a bathroom European or hostel style; but the bathrooms were very clean and there were plenty of them!|#4 Interesting murals, photos, quotes and decor EVERYWHERE - even in the bathrooms!!! The front desk has info sheets on the origins of the names of the rooms and some hotel history; a recommended read!|#5 If you stay on the side closest to the rail tracks, the Amtrak station is literally directly behind you. It's easy to catch your train from here. |#6 A piece of advice: USE THE BACK STAIRS. They aren't as intense as the front ones. The back hotel door is right next to the door to enter the pub. |#7 Before you complain about the noise, be sure you read the info that you were provided on their website! You have no excuses to not be informed in this case. |#8 The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendlier! Made me as a solo traveler feel very safe. |#9 The locks on both entry doors and the doors to the rooms are sturdy - you'll definitely feel secure.|#10 You are within easy walking distance of multiple restaurants, a nice college campus, cozy boutiques, large antique malls, a nice local park...and I highly recommend walking around and seeing the lovely murals on the sides of the buildings.|#11 Lest I forget, morning coffee and hot water available for tea every morning, as well as free local newspapers!

A favorite place to dine. We often do lunch here and are never disappointed.
Lately we have used door dash for pizza delivery.
Generally the order is pepperoni and the omnivore.
I like extra cheese but there is no option on door dash for that.
Last night I called after putting in our order and ask if there was any chance of a little more cheese. Was told not really as that required an additional fee.
The pizza's arrived and both were perfect. Just the right amount of cheese.
Whoever took the call must have passed it on to the kitchen.
Good job and not taken for granted.

Husband and I came in for dinner with our 2.5 year old and Karlee took care of us. The food was great, drinks even better but the service Karlee provided was top notch! She was great with our little and with us parents bumbling around. Beautiful place with lots of History. We will happily come back very soon
