Husband and I stopped in while running our errands. We got a Mushroom Swiss Burger and Eggs Benedict. The food was delicious!! The staff was very kind and quick to take care of our needs from ordering, to refills, to check out. We were very impressed with our entire experience and would recommend this diner to others.

Very cute and small local diner, this place is fantastic. Not huge portions, which are nice, bit quality food cooked with love. About a 20 minute drive from Bellingham but worth the journey.

Cafe 544 is always a favorite of ours. We tried to go this morning and sadly their hot water heater had just gone out, so we couldn’t. We ended up at a chain place in Bellingham and it reminded us how lucky we are to have such an incredible cafe in our town.
The food here is amazing the staff is friendly! We are spoiled!

So, recently tried cafe 544 for the first time, have to say it was the MOST expensive biscuits and gravy I’ve ever paid for
Don’t let their online menu trick you

On the door 30$ for two biscuits two eggs
Bacon and hash browns ..without tip

Ok food
Disconnected service (not her fault)
Do yourself a favor if your in the nugents corner area
Go to the acme diner!!! Get the same meal that’s so much better food and environment
for less than 20$

Loved this place! Went out for a full day date with my wife and decided to stop here for breakfast. The building is reminiscent of the 60’s-80’s diners. Decor is nice and homey and the food tastes like home-made/aforementioned diner food. Both my wife and I loved it and can’t wait to re-visit. Service was excellent and the ambiance was that of a long-established family diner. Like walking into Cheers! Thank you!

Amazing food and amazing service, the lady with the butterfly tattoo on her hight shoulder is very beautiful and such a Saint, she brought my grandpa's glasses out when he left them and even stopped us when she saw my father leave his leftovers on the back of the truck. Emphasis on the beautiful, and the amazing hospitality
