Super spot. Friendly service. Homemade burger buns? Yes. Brand new menu according to our server/hostess. Husband got a shrimp appetizer and enjoyed it. He also shared my fries which were bomb. Burger was great. Cucumber/lemon water was refreshing. Would recommend to all. Cute couple with a young child came in so family friendly. Seemed like everyone was having a good experience. I did ask for no Mayo on my burger which they accommodated. Definitely will go back if I’m in the area.

I’ve been here a handful of times, but each time I’m blown away by the delicious food. The chicken strippers have me in a chokehold and I don’t know how I can be surprised by how exquisitely the flavors come together, but here we are!
We’ve experienced a few date nights with live acoustic guitar in the background, not too loud, just perfect. Everything we’ve tried has been outstanding, but the chicken strippers keep us coming back. Don’t sleep on this place! 10/10

Had one of the best burgers I've ever had at Brownells. First off, the service is absolutely fantastic. They are so nice, so attentive, and very welcoming. A few seconds after I sat down, they served me cucumber/lemon water that tasted so good; I'm going to start doing that at home now. They have a great selection of beers & wines. As this was the first time I've eaten there, I had their signature burger that was absolutely amazing. The fries that came with it were perfectly seasoned and so good.

There is outdoor seating so bring Fido on those sunny days! The outdoor patio has plenty of seating with umbrellas to block the sun. The indoor area is very clean and is an open space; but doesn't get too loud. Plenty of room between tables so this is great for those in a wheelchair or walker. There is a back room that is a little more private if you're on a date night.

This has become my new favorite place in Newport WA and I will be a frequent customer.

I've been dinning here since August, 2023 and have the utmost appreciation for the food, service and owners! Every meal I've tried so far has been exquisite! Breakfast on Saturday morning is terrific...biscuits and gravey, French Toast, omelets, it's all fantastic! Today I had their lunch special, a Rib-Eye Steak Sandwich with there crispy French fries. Wow! They have the best desserts, without a doubt. I enjoy bringing my friends along, as I know they'll not be disappointed.
I highly recommend this establishment.

This place was highly recommended by our physician here in town. And now we highly recommend it also. The smash burger was huge. We shared one with fries and was more than filling. The owner, Shari is personable and very attentive to your needs. The restroom was clean and modern. There is an outside dining area as well.

Well that was a fantastic meal. Just left this restaurant and had to leave a review. The food was excellent. Loved the corn chowder and my husband's house salad with the (obviously) home made croutons and dressing was outstanding. Cajun shrimp is a must do and the banana bread dessert...well...I'm usually a good "sharer" but this almost turned into a battle of cutlery with my husband. Good thing I had the bigger spoon.

Food was really good. Tried the firecracker shrimp appetizer, the bean w/pork & bacon soup, the steak sandwhich and the bourbon brownie dessert- the dessert was my favorite! But all of it worth returning for. Everything was unique and a nice change from standard pub fare.

We have been here at least a dozen times!! NEVER disappointed!! I have tried things that I have never eaten in the past (ie goat cheese appetizer and grits as an entree), to name a couple). Their menu is ever changing b/c they use the freshest ingredients in season. Their staff gives an explanation of each appetizer and entree. Their basic dinner salad is a delight to the palate and changes with the seasons (NOT your average salad)! My hubby and I have been going to "date night" on Saturdays and plan on Valentines Day there, as well!! We like to order opposite things and then compare bites! I'm usually hesitant to order something I have never had before. No worries here!! They even state that IF you are not satisfied they will replace!! We have never had to here!!
