The stay here was quite enjoyable! We stayed only one night just for a little getaway. Check-in was a breeze. Rooms were nice. Had refrigerator and microwave, which is a plus for me! (Took this pic from the little seating area in front of our room) Cool little game room with billiards. The only bummer was that the spa/hottub facilities were shut down for maintenance 😔 If i could suggest one thing.... upgrading the sleeping pillows. That was pretty rough trying to get comfortable. All in all, it was a great experience and will come back for sure!

We stayed two nights for my daughter’s scuba diving class. Location is great, just a quick walk across the street to the dock. The resort was in fantastic condition, with nice clean rooms. We were very happy the entire time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Can’t say enough good things!

Very clean, cute, and great view of the water. We stayed just 1 night as a spur of the moment thing and was very happy with our decision. One complaint I would have is the pillows in the room.....idk if you can even call them pillows. But everything else was super. Joaquin (hope I'm getting that right) was incredibly friendly getting checked in. Will absolutely be back to get away from the city.

The room is a bargain for what you get. You get all the usual amenities plus access to a hot tub. Rooms are small kitchenette style with keurig drink maker featuring coffee, tea & hot chocolate. The TV features standard cable channels. There are snacks available in the lobby. The rooms are clean and nice. Staff is welcoming and accommodating. If you need late arrival, they’re all set up with a lockbox for you to get your key. They are on the waterfront and have a dock where you can enjoy the views and watch seals and birds and boats. This is where I stay in Hoodsport! One final note: if you’re here to scuba dive, you’re welcome to return after diving and use showers that they have in their common area, as well as the hot tub, even if you have checked out!

Great accommodations in a beautiful location. Room was clean. Staff were friendly. Bed was super comfortable! Would recommend a room with a water view if you can. Proximity to Olympic National Park was a plus—make sure to stop at the Staircase Rapids while you’re there!

We stayed at Glen Ayr’s newest lodging option called House on the Hill, a single family home, private above the resort. Incredible family-friendly option. As a family of 4 with two young children, this was a great 2 bedroom option with all of the amenities: fully stocked kitchen, beautiful design including a bunk bed in the second room, and bath/shower combo. The house has beautiful views of the water from the porch and even the living room. It was easy to call to book and we will definitely stay again!

Had a wonderful stay. We live an hour away so it was nice to get away and feel farther from home. Staff was friendly and accomodating. full hook ups and fair nightly rates.|My only complaint and it’s a small one is that it feels anti-dog. They provide a small space only for a dog to walk around. Even the lawn was off limits even though we always clean up after our dog||Would come back again though. We love the area.

Best place to stay on Hood Canal. Easy access to anything and everything you could possibly want to do in the area. The rooms are charming, clean, and spacious. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. 5 stars all around.
