Perfect coffeeshop. Super cozy vibes, friendly and delightful baristas, great indoor seating and outdoor patio, and the best dang specialty drinks you've had in your life. I got the Sasquatch (dark chocolate and salted pistachio) and my mouth involuntarily yelled out "holy cow!!" because it tasted so good.

I want to like this place. The coffee is really good. It’s trying to be cozy when it just feels shabby and college-dorm like. Sorry but I don’t want to feel like I’m at a poetry slam anymore. Lighting is strange and dark and the line for ordering is cramped so you often have to stand outside even if it’s cold.
The baristas are super weird. They tend to converse loudly with themselves while sitting in the few tables available in the little room gossiping about other baristas, their lives, thinking they are adding to the casual comfy vibe when it just makes the place cramped. The sitting is really sparse inside. Outside seating is pretty cute. I feel pretty meh overall about it.

The atmosphere here is fantastic. It's very cozy and comfortable. I got two drinks here that were both fantastic; the coffee tasted very high quality and had complex flavors. They also have free wifi!

Very Seattle coffee spot, locally owned and well ran. Hotwire is well priced as compared to other Seattle coffee spots. It’s a small but mighty location, near the Alaska junction and the Sunday market.

Hot chocolate is such a key part of the holiday fun with my family. With one of our kids being diary free it’s been hard to find places that offer vegan hot chocolate (yes even in Seattle)!
Super grateful to find Hotwire offers vegan hot chocolate as well as other beverages for lactose intolerant folks. Their staff was quick and so helpful!
