One star because we booked a room and then found out their check in time is 3pm when we have a wedding to attend at 3pm! We will be arriving around noon and hope to speak to a manager to check in a couple hours earlier to get ready, but that is a really late check in time. This will remain a one star depending on the service we receive, so far not good at all. If they accommodate us, they will receive five stars, but as of now it will be impossible to get ready in time for the wedding.

The staff is excellent. We met a few front desk staff and the breakfast host. All were super friendly and helpful. All 5 🌟 The grounds and building were clean and pretty well maintained with renovations being done. The beds and furnishings are standard hotel quality, but comfortable and clean. There was a fireplace in our room that provided a nice ambiance to the stay. The oversized closet is a waste of space that could have been used for a garden tub instead of the water saver tiny tub that was in our bathroom. The main drawback was the noise from the traffic right outside. We were in the back on the end. The only noise we heard was traffic all night long. The walls are soundproof, but the windows are not. And there’s a tiny window that’s totally pointless right at the head of the bed. I almost slept in the closet so that I could get away from the noise. Definitely bring earplugs.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Rooms (both rooms- the first one and the second one that I got moved to after complaining, were dirty!!! I didn’t dare walk barefoot and I reluctantly took a shower given how dirty the shower was. One of the staff members offered to have my room vacuumed, after she had just paid a lot of money for this. Disappointed that my complaint was not followed up by management. I would have expected more - if for no other reason than to avoid a review like this. It’s definitely not a luxury hotel, not cozy, warm and inviting. Plain!
I was utterly disappointed.

I just received a response from the owner, but I don’t know how to directly respond back, so I will add this to my review: it apparently was NOT the housekeeping staff’s fault to not vacuum. I was told by one of the front desk staff members that ALL vacuum cleaners were broken (yes, all at the same time), and that they were waiting for new ones to be delivered. I hope the owner can see my addition to my review. And, by the way, the housekeeping staff also was wonderful! I requested not to have my room serviced during my stay, but when I asked for extra trash bags and/or coffee, they were super friendly and accommodating, as was the very nice lady in the breakfast room.
But the mystery of all the broken vacuum cleaners remains.

Stayed here for one night. Our room was basically new. Carpet, Bed, Bathroom....we're brand new. Only thing left would be the AC which had no auto setting and just stays on. Breakfast was sufficient, included pancakes and waffles... Mei-Mei was very helpful. We ate at the Irish pub down the road, also very good and makes it easy.

Booked 4 nights for Thanksgiving overflow. Close to our house in Gig Harbor so was a super convenient location for my family. The two-queen bed setup was comfortable for my sister and her daughter and they made use of the free breakfast.

But the service was surprisingly poor. They called down for a hair dryer…no answer. Went down to the lobby and waited awhile for someone to come out and help them.

But the poor service truly kicked in when my sister checked out on Sunday and realized when she got home to California that she might have left her laptop in the room. After not being able to have her phone call answered, I drove over and asked the front desk person that night. She said housekeeping didn’t bring anything down but she’d leave a note to have someone call me regardless the next day. Nope…no call so I called Monday morning. Same deal…nothing from housekeeping but she’ll talk to someone and call me back soon. Nope…I called Monday evening and spoke to yet another person…same response, we will check and get back to you.

Finally, I went in person on Tuesday, spoke to another person who said “oh yes, here’s the note” and then she looked up housekeeping’s comments in the system and sure enough, they found a laptop when they cleaned the room.

I feel like if I hadn’t gone in person, my sister would still not have heard back. It’s not like the Inn is a busy place so it’s very puzzling why it required me physically there to get this resolved.

Again, a super convenient location but overall a disappointing experience.

It was clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. We needed a place to stay in Gig Harbor for my son’s surgery at the Mary Bridge surgical center there the next day. It was only a few blocks away and an easy drive from the hotel.

The front desk manager, Jess, needs a personality transplant with her complete lack of interest in serving customers. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff are nice enough, but they're hamstrung by awful management. The rooms are just ok. Although there was a strong smell of sewage(!) when I first got to my room, it went away within an hour. Badly mismanaged hotel

The staff, particularly Melissa, was friendly and helpful; it was a great experience! The location is ideal—quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently close to all the wonderful shops, restaurants, and attractions in Gig Harbor. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind while still having easy access to everything this charming town has to offer.
