We are satisfied customers! This is our second visit and I must say, the food, service and atmosphere was outstanding! We truly enjoyed our meal! The dish was attractive, well presented and delicious! The staff was so accommodating and professional. They made the setting for a great meal. The chef, Sonya Patterson, took time out of her busy schedule to come and greet us personally.
We will be returning and I am encouraging all my friends to patronize this restaurant and support our young entrepreneur in her new adventure.

Definitely try this place! The atmosphere has an upscale industrial feel and the staff were very warm and welcoming. Even lunch comes with bread service. The bread was crusty outside and soft inside, and served with drawn butter - very good. We had the crab cake appetizer that was 90% crab and tasted amazing. I had the shrimp lettuce wraps for lunch and the shrimp were cooked perfectly and 6 shrimp in the lunch portion so very generous. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service.

Will not be returning for a second time. My experience dining at the blue crab was bad, to say the least. There wasn’t a host, so we waited several minutes just to be greeted. Once we ordered, it took 45 minutes to get our food (the restaurant had very few patrons at this time). When our food arrived, the pasta was over cooked and stuck together in a ball. We mentioned this to the waitress who removed the pasta from the bowl, which left 1 shrimp and 5 clams. She returns 10 minutes later to tell us that they ran out of pasta. The manager took $5 off the meal, which was $25 (for 1 shrimp and 5 clams). When I asked for the manager to come to the table, the waitress told him we would like to speak with him, he looked at us and turned around and walked to the back room of the restaurant. Both meals were missing ingredients that were stated clearly on the menu, so I can only assume they ran out of those ingredients as well. While our waitress was pleasant, the experience was not up to par for any restaurant, new or not.

Had the she crab soup. It was good. the time.it took to complete the order for a group of 4 was an hour after ordering and we were the only people in the restaurant at the time we ordered. Not sure why it took so long. I was expecting a 35 minute wait for food, but it took that long just to receive the shrimp appetizers we ordered. Definitely can be better with as they get their service speed up.

Plates were Amazing, well portioned.
Taste was on point for the Nation, the food was fresh and filling.
This was my first time here and it definitely will not be the last!
Restaurant is clean, great atmosphere for the whole Family or a night out with Friends.

After our Toastmasters Meeting, we decided to take my mom to the Blu Crabs ? for her birthday. Although they close at 2pm to prepare for dinner, the owner Ms. Sonya Patterson, was gracious to open her restaurant doors for us. We received immaculate treatment. The entire staff is very professional and the food was great. My mom even ordered a nice Double Black Diamond Martini ?

We will definitely be frequenting this establishment!!

We were there on a Saturday when they opened at 5 pm. The servers weren't there yet. A man, the owners husband I'm guessing , came over to seat us and take our orders. He commented that he was waiting on his servers to arrive. He seemed rather irritated. I will admit that his demeanor improved each time he came to the table. My husband ordered a pasta dish with shrimp and littleneck clams. It came out with shrimp and scallops. I ordered the blue crabs. The crabs were fine, nothing special. The arugula consisted of about 12 raw baby spinach leaves atop very bland mashed potatoes. We both left still hungry. Fortunately there is a good selection of other restaurants within walking distance. We literally left the Blu Crab and went to get more food.
