The house is absolutely gorgeous! Comfortable yet elegant. The grounds are full of wonder with a hidden garden feel. There is a ravine behind the property that used to have stairs leading down, long forgotten. There are bunnies, black berries and magic.

This is located in beautiful West Seattle. Far enough away from the city center to be isolated from the trappings of a downtown but close enough to get there in 30 minutes on the bus which is directly next to the property. In the cozy Fauntleroy neighborhood, there is a small family owned bakery with fresh hand made delights daily, an upscale dinner, authentic taco truck and ritzy deli, all within a 2 minutes walk. The beach is 2 blacks away (about 4 minutes walk) with the ferry terminal along side. This beautiful beach boasts exquisite sunsets over the Olympic mountain range. Lovey one of a kind neighborhood.

I recently spent 5 nights at Wildwood while attending a family function, and it was truly enjoyable. Linda was very warm, welcoming, and an excellent cook. She would visit with us over coffee most mornings and provide a bit of history related to the area and recommend activities and routes of travel...even sharing the secrets to her delicious recipes! Our room was spacious and well decorated with a comfortable king bed. The grounds were inviting with an abundance of roses in bloom. Just up the street is a very good bar/restaurant, Endolyne Joe's with a nice selection of wines and tastey salmon and steaks. Wildwood is about 2 blocks from the ferry to Vashon Island and the city bus stop is just a few steps up the street. Wildwood was a big part of what made our trip to Seattle memorable. I will certainly return.

I have stayed at WW B&B for many years. I have stayed in every room and each one is comfortable, sweet and charming. The house is an amazing home that Linda has personally restored. ||||Each room is different with it's own theme and always fits my need. There are snacks in the rooms, soft luxurious sheets and pillow cases THAT SHE IRONS which makes for the smothest and most glorious slumber. I use to live out of town and would come stay for business at least once a month and always looked forward to the beds!||||When I would come Linda would go out of her way to make me over the top gourmet breakfasts. She has even made me breakfast bags to go when I had to leave early for a flight or meeting. She makes bread, scones, and everything else from scratch. The breakfasts are so beautiful and truely creative.||||Linda has a love and passion for making you comfortable and her home is always filled with a welcoming vibe. I highly reccomend staying here for any occasion! She is all about the little details that make it charming, comfortable and like home!

We stayed here for 4 nights in early May 2013. The owners are the sweetest people, they really go above and beyond for you. My husband is in the Coast Guard and they offer a military discount (they have friends who are former CG). They are located right on the C Line (Rapid Ride) that goes right into downtown Seattle. It's so convenient to stay here. It's like staying with your family when you are at Wildwood, we felt so welcomed and well taken care of. The breakfast was amazing! We had waffles with a fresh mango syrup, oven baked eggs with cheese, and so much more delicious food. They even had a pot of tea ready for me when I came down for breakfast. We've since moved to Seattle and have gone back to thank them again for the service we had and they remembered us! Such sweet people.

This is a little tricky to get to from the airport, but an easy trip to downtown. The rooms are nicely furnished and the owners are friendly and helpful. Parking was a problem, but the owners were glad to valet park the car. Breakfasts were cheery and original. Great amounts of very good food. One drawback might be that most of the rooms have a shared bathroom. We did not find it an inconvenience.||If you are going to stay long enough to get the rhythms of the bus system, this is an excellent place to stay. We also enjoyed starting our mornings with a brief time in nearby Lincoln Park.||The only two drawbacks: One of the owners has a penchant for listening to Talk Radio, which I would never like to hear (but his wife WILL ask him to turn it off , if it bothers you). The owners are not internet savvy, so the only reliable way to contact them and to assure yourself of a room is to use the telephone.

This is a lovely place that my mother has stayed in before when she has come to visit, so of course on this visit she was planning to stay here. Unfortunately, after the first leg of her flight out here my mother had a health issue that forced her to turn around and return home, and Carol was wonderfully understanding. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast, and am particularly grateful to Carol for being such a wonderful hostess.

Great location in West Seattle away from the city traffic. We enjoyed all the antiques and the comfortable suite. Sat in the garden in the yard and enjoyed the warm weather. Breakfast was amazing with Carols creative dishes. Will definitely return.

What a woodland wonderland! We rented the entire house on VRBO to celebrate a birthday with family. The whole place has been lovingly restored in exquisite detail. From paint colors coordinated with accent wallpaper, to books on theme and vintage restored furnishings, every detail is playful and on point. Highly recommend you come here!
