The rooms were not amazing. The buildings were a little run down and need some updates, but still charming. There was a great activity area with several amenities including a pool, hot tub, sauna, pool table, corn hole, and several other games. The staff provided excellent customer service.

Run! As others have stated, smoke alarms either don’t work or aren’t there. Room was beat up and in poor condition, beds uncomfortable, couch was almost unusable. Appliances were falling apart. Place was ice cold when we arrived. Rodent issues are present and obvious, and likely bad levels of black mold. The room smelled awful, and caused all of our stuff to smell and required us to wash everything. Hot tub lacked chemicals and was too gross to use. This property is not safe to stay at, and beach access is not safe. Vacation was cut short due to all the above.

The unit was freezing cold when we arrived. They have a wood stove. However, no wood was provided. Good was probably a good idea since they didn't have smoke or carbon monoxide alarms. There was an empty base for one on the ceiling. No smoke detector. Then in the bedroom there was one that didn't work. If you have any mobility issues you wouldn't be able to escape. There is a small window high up in the bedroom. That's it. Didn't feel very safe.
Didn't have to worry about sleeping through a fire. The bed was so uncomfortable. Any time you moved it squeaked super loud.
There is beach access through the dunes. It's not a short walk at all.
The pictures on the website are not at all what you get. For instance, they're was a wreath above the tv. It was made out of ping-pong balls. It's old and dated. Smells old and dated.
I will not be returning.
If you still end up booking with them... check for smoke detectors in your room.

Had a multi family Thanksgiving that was wonderful. The club house was a perfect spot for gathering and enjoying conversation and time together. Had multiple rooms with each having an oven and kitchen, it worked to cook or warm up all the food and then store it till we left. New managers are great and have young energy working to refresh the whole resort.

AVOID - we paid almost $200 during off season and to be honest I would not have stayed for free. Very dated. Pool is outdoor and not usable 10 months out of the year. Hot tub and sauna are off and you need to let them know few hours in advance to turn on. Grass and landscaping in very poor condition. Nothing like the pictures.

It looks like ocean view but it could be 50 miles inland since you can see anything. Good walk climbing over rocks and bushes to get there. We were so disappointed that just stayed out at restaurants, then went to our rooms to sleep and get up and leave before 8 am. Brutal experience

Stayed here for two nights with my two large dogs. They have beach access and it was a great weekend for us. Be aware, if you are looking for a 5 star experience with room service and a spa, this is not the place. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and they have enough ammenities to keep the family entertained, including a pool, hot tub, pool table and games. We had a relaxing and pleasant stay.

I stayed for four days. It was awful ants in the bathroom, water heater was leaking on the floor, no pans to cook with, room is really dark. One lamp didn’t work, other needed a bulb. No table to eat at. Sand everywhere on the floors .
Hairdryer fell off the wall and into the sink. It was full of water.
The people working there are very nice. But whole place needs some someone to manage cabins to make sure the unit is ready for guests.
