We were a group of 10 who had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was spacious, perfect for two people sharing.

We enjoyed a huge dinner at the restaurant, featuring delicious food. The highlight was a 14oz Seared NY Steak, followed by a sweet dessert of Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake—so yummy! The total cost for the 10-person meal was $708.

Coffee at the reception was unlimited, which was a nice touch. Outside, we were delighted to see big fish swimming under the pond—such a happy sight!

Stayed here for our Anniversary (again) and just love the place. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff is always professional and pleasant. We have stayed here multiple times and each time is fantastic. We find it so cosy and relaxing while offering an upscale resaurant, pool, and meeting facilities. Just 1 one day stay feels like a three day relaxation. If you are traveling to Vancouver Washington and want to relax, enjoy, and enjoy great food, this is the place.

Our stay was fine (room clean, bed clean). But it does feel really cheap they charge $15 for facilities fee and $25 for early check in. They allow free check in at 3, I checked in at 2 and had to pay $25. I was stuck though because I had a wedding in the afternoon so couldn’t get ready in the lobby. Would stay elsewhere if I needed to check in early next time.

The staff are great with wonderful service. The only problem for us were the beds are so soft that we couldn't sleep. We were in pain from the bed. We almost checked out to go to a different hotel.

Eaten here twice this month - once for lunch, once for Thanksgiving. The food is superb- every dish from soup (Salmon bisque) to Salad (greens with goat cheese & pears) to entrees (Butternut squash ravioli) to dessert (Brioche bread pudding with caramel sauce) was exceptionally delicious.

Thanksgiving buffet was amazing - rich & plentiful. I don't have the exact number but I know that there were more than 1,000 people served yet somehow nothing was rushed we were never hurried and it never seemed crowded.

The staff is marvelous: professional, attentive, yet cheerful, warm and friendly. Though I've not personally stayed overnight at the Lodge, friends have and loved it. I can and do recommend their restaurant Hudson Lodge highly!

Overall pretty great. Had great check in upon arrival. The restaurant had very good options and all tasted good, the steak tip saute and rustic bread.. 100% do it, so good. Our server at dinner, amazing, attentive, personable.
Rooms comfortable and clean. Cool in the lobby, bring a sweater.
Check out service efficient, however could tell that staff was more intrested in the computer than the customer, had to ask if "that was all" after getting our receipt as the lady checking us out never looked up from her computer.
Breakfast service was much the same. Staff that was not intrested in the customer. However, breakfast was very good and filling.

This hotel is not worth the money. They’re trying to be a three star hotel, but you hear traffic noise in your room from the highway, the TVs are smart TVs but you can’t use any of the steaming apps, the front desk just says ā€œyeah, streaming doesn’t work, there’s just cable.ā€ The WiFi is trash- so intermittent that you can’t watch anything on a device, either. The front desk staff has been rude when I asked if someone could replace a lightbulb in my room, and again when I asked for a cup of hot water from the coffee bar. The beds don’t even have bedspreads.. just a flat sheet, the brown wool blanket every motel has, then another flat sheet on top! Wild there there’s no comforter, duvet, etc! Disappointed in this hotel trying to be a ā€œ3-star hotelā€ but just being a Glorified La Quinta. Oh and Hudson’s? Not good… I ordered food and walked down to grab it for take out, they charged a $3.50 to go fee, marked it as room service even though it was ā€œto goā€ in plastic take out containers, AND charged a 10% service fee… service? For what? I didn’t sit at a table?

Stayed here for a weekend strongman competition with my strong man! We only chose this hotel because of a travel deal we got and the room was on an enormous discount. I'm weighting my review with that in mind. The hotel check-in process was great, quick and straightforward. The theming of the hotel is a little tired. They're trying very hard to have a cabin-esque feel but it reads more like Grandma's house than anything truly outdoorsy. Except for maybe the piped in bird sounds in all the hallways. That's a little haunting at 9pm on the walk back from the hot tub. Now I was scared after reading some reviews with graphic pictures and mentions of bed bugs, that would have been a deal breaker for me. Happy to report my room had no bugs and I checked THOROUGHLY. To all who complained about the beds being uncomfortable, please see your primary care doctor about that arthritis diagnosis. The worst part about the room was the mold on the walls by the shower. Why they decided on a textured wall in a moist place is beyond me. The best part of this place was the restaurant! I had a fabulous dinner and was well taken care of by my waitress. They were not only accomodating to my food allergies but also to my friends diabetes and got her a glass of orange juice when she started getting a low during dinner. Overall, Heathman Lodge was a good place to stay for a weekend with mid to low expectations, especially for the price we got on the room. I do not think I would say the same had we booked at full price.
