We visit this awesome place! But wasn’t able to take a trail, arrive 20 minutes before course, and wanted to join group. Answer was that we have to book it online before.

Would give 6 stars if I could!! The animals are obviously well taken care of, and the valley was beautiful. Many thanks to our tour guide, Michael, who helped make our Honeymoon so much fun. We can’t wait to come back!!

Super friendly staff with a nice facility and various riding trails with awesome scenery. The horses are very well trained and easy to handle. Buy your tickets online or at Sun Mountain Lodge and sign your waiver then you're all set after a short drive down to the stables. Tours are about 2 hours and you can pet all the horses you want before or after the ride. Throw the rope for the sheep dog, too, she likes to work.

We had a wonderful experience with Debbie @JD outfitters through our stay at Sun Mountain Lodge! We did the cowboy dinner carriage ride. It was so beautiful. We went in Mid-September and the weather was mild and perfect. Well worth the money!! The food was home made and delicious. The horses were obviously well cared for. We even got to hear a little music on the guitar at the cowboy dinner. The wranglers were so sweet and it was a true cowboy experience. We took our two year old who had a wonderful time!!! Thank you!!!

Great people, Debbie is an awesome person, very knowledgeable and welcoming. If you’re looking for a great place to go riding I highly recommend this place. We will be back.
