Very delicious food. The service is very nice. Make sure to ask for their homemade hot sauce very delicious and adds a nice kick to the meal. We got the soul n’ bowl, it is a very good deal. The plantains were very delicious and cooked well, I loved the crispy pieces. The rice and beans were nicely seasoned but nothing life changing. The collards were quite good, I like that they use the whole vegetable so you get the stem pieces. The meat is all very good the only issue is there is so many bones that it is a bit of a hazard to eat. Each dish comes with lots of sauce and is served hot, (unlike other places). The coconut corn muffins taste very good, they are very dry but when you dip it in the jerk chicken sauce it is amazing. The oxtail fries are not worth it, the fries lack salt and its just gravy with beans, good but a bit expensive for the amount. The sweet tea is very good as well. We went late on a Friday night and got parking right it front. The music is insanely loud so you cant really hear anything but its not surprising.

Baby this place is awesome. If I lived in Seattle this would definitely be a go too. My husband and I were visiting for our anniversary and decided to stop. The food was spice yet so good. I enjoyed the music and the atmosphere. Our waiter was very. Good. I’ll go back when visiting again.

We went for dinner before a concert nearby and enjoyed the food. The catfish was very flavorful. The only downside for me was that the sides for many dishes are served a la carte. For something like catfish, it would be nice to have a side that comes with the meal, especially for the price. Some menu items include a side, but not all.

Island Soul Restaurant offers a mixed experience with a standout dish and some room for improvement. Our favorite dish here is undeniably the Island Curry Mussels, a flavorful delight best enjoyed with rice or toast. We religiously order this dish for its exquisite taste and quality. On the other hand, the BBQ Rib Tip falls short of expectations, being rather mediocre compared to other options.

Having explored the menu extensively, including the Green Catfish, Gumbo, and various other dishes, none have managed to capture our taste buds like the Island Curry Mussels. The mixed drinks have been inconsistent, prompting us to stick with beer for a reliable choice. Service at the restaurant is commendably fast, ensuring a quick and efficient dining experience.

The lively atmosphere at Island Soul, complete with live music and a vibrant bar setting, makes it an enjoyable spot to catch a game or simply unwind. While the food may not always hit the mark across the menu, the standout dishes and lively ambiance ensure a memorable dining experience overall.

Had been too long since I've touched down at Island Soul, and this was some of the best Happy Hour value I've had. Oxtail gravy fries and Tapa Catfish, with the rum based Dark & Stormy whipped up by Amara. All for $10. Finished with Tieton Hazy Strawberry cider

This place is so good! You may end up waiting for a bit but it's worth it. The muscles are in a robust and vibrant curry sauce, are wonderful! I would buy just the sauce in a jar if I could. I love the greens and they're vegan too. Ginger beer is good and house made. A little too sweet (for me) but I'd at least try it out. Fried plantains are excellent as well as the hush puppies. Honestly everything here is really good and I can't really complain.

The owner at Arleana in Kirkland told me about this place. It was delicious! Atmosphere was great, service was friendly. I have to say the catfish and collard greens were the best I have had! We ordered bacon Mac and cheese, tostones (a little bland), Catfish po-boy and coconut cake. I wish this place was closer to Kirkland.
