Duos Catering is the best catering company in the Greater Seattle Area! My (now) husband and I hired Duos Catering for our July 2022 wedding at AXIS Pioneer Square in Downtown Seattle. From the beginning, Stayce (our main contact) was super kind, thoughtful, and professional, offering us recommendations on the best appetizers, salads, entrees, desserts, late-night snacks, and bar packages within our budget. Stayce went above and beyond for us through many revisions as our plans changed and guest counts fluctuated. She was also very helpful in guiding us through the planning process as we worked with Duos directly until our coordinator took over communication a month before. You truly couldn’t find a better person and company to work with for your event! Leading up to our wedding, Stayce coordinated our rental items from Cort Party Rental, offered us opportunities to taste the food and drinks we selected, and did a venue walkthrough with us to finalize day-of details including floor plan layout, staffing and service, and the order of events. She’s very detail-oriented! On the wedding day itself, our Captain was so friendly and professional, ensuring every detail was seamless from ceremony and reception setup to quality food, drinks, and service. Our guests raved about the hot, fresh, and well-executed dinner service including the peach salad, honey-citrus roasted chicken, truffle gnocchi, vegan green curry and table-side wine service. The appetizers and late-night snacks were absolutely delicious - coconut shrimp, watermelon lollipop, mini soft chicken tacos, Duos corn dogs, Filipino lumpia, and falafel. The desserts were so decadent and tasty - mini vanilla cupcakes, brownie bars with fresh berries, and mini cheesecakes. And finally, we upgraded to the premium full bar package which included beer, wine, liquor, and two specialty cocktails - the Asian Pear Cocktail is out of this world! So delicious! The staff, service, food, drinks, and hospitality provided by Duos elevated our event and made for a memorable wedding celebration! We highly recommend Duos Catering to cater your wedding or event! You truly won’t be disappointed!

We were at a Google Local Guides event and Duos was the caterer. We liked everything except for the Mac n cheese. It didn't have a lot of flavor. Excellent servers! The bar was awesome. The Kumamoto oysters were fresh and amazing! Keep up the good work Duos catering!

I have been working with Duos Catering for my wedding as they were one of the vendors offered by our venue. After deciding to move forward with them, I informed the employee that I had a few clarifying questions and requested a call on Friday, the 23rd. The employee responded enthusiastically, saying, "Happy Monday! This is great news!! Thank you for choosing Duos Catering. I (we) will take great care of you!!" However, I was supposed to receive a call from her on Monday, which never happened.

I followed up on Tuesday with my availability but did not receive a response. On Wednesday, after not hearing back again, I reached out once more, requesting a specific time to connect. The employee agreed, but a few hours later, I received an email saying, "I'm so very sorry, but unfortunately, we are no longer available on the date you requested. I was just informed that my co-worker already booked an event on the date you requested, and due to the holiday weekend, we can only take one event. I do apologize for the inconvenience. Please let me know if there is anything else I may help with."

I was shocked by this email. We were ready to move forward and would have paid on asap if she had followed up as discussed. To be informed via email, and not even with a phone call, that they were no longer available was extremely unprofessional. When I called to discuss this, I was told that the other team member had not communicated with her about another couple booking the same date.

I asked to speak with a manager and was contacted by the owner, Ben. During our conversation, Ben acknowledged that he was the one who booked the other client and said, "Yeah, I have been talking with them before you." FLOORED. This entire situation could have been avoided with clear communication. Had I been informed that a hold had not been placed, I would have expedited the payment process.

I am deeply disappointed with this experience.

I am a local Seattle Wedding Planner and had to get on here to give praise to Duos for being so great at what they do! I worked with them recently for a wedding and everything was outstanding. Stayce handled all of the lead-up planning and is always a joy to work with while also making sure every base is covered and my couples are taken care of. On the day of the wedding, Wendy lead the charge and knocked it out of the park. On top of all of that, the food was just DELICIOUS. From the apps, to dinner, to dessert- every single thing was good. Would highly recommend them for your next event!!

Absolutely phenomenal!!!! The staff at Duos were lovey and courteous and made the entire process very streamlined and easy. And the food! OMG THE FOOD!!! It was so delicious and presented on platters in the most lovely displays. We had Duos cater a Christmas party, and everyone in attendance was raving about the food the entire night and days after. I could not have been happier with Duos, I only wish I had known about them when I got married!

We had our wedding catered by Duos in the summer of 2019.

Since my wife and I are big foodies, it was very important that our wedding food was something our guests would notice and rave about.

We first looked into Duos since they are the parent company that owned the venue we had settled on. Their menu was quite flexible, ranging from casual taco bars to high end plated dishes. After reviewing their offering, we decided to host a buffet.

When it came to choosing the actual menu items of the buffet, Duos was kind enough to host a tasting event for us where we had the opportunity to taste both the foods that would be available during our cocktail hour as well as the dinner menu items.

The food itself was of high quality and very tasty. Some items were clever twists of existing dishes (duck on mini waffles, passed around during cocktail hour) while others were classic crowd pleasers executed expertly.

We even had Duos host and cater our wedding rehearsal dinner which turned out to be a major success since we weren’t sure how we would possible host twenty people without breaking the bank.

Overall, we would highly recommend Duos.

The staff at Duos is fantastic! We had an amazing time tasting food with them on crazy schedules, and the food on the day of was fantastic! Melissa was our day-of-coordinator, and my husband agrees that it was the best money spent on the whole day. She helped make everything so smooth and seamless, we never noticed if anything was amiss. The waitstaff they hired for our wedding was the happiest and friendliest staff we had seen at any wedding. They were lightning quick - if a glass was empty or the plate was dirty, it was filled or taken away immediately.

Duos made everything so easy and we changed our menu and numbers so many times and it was "not a problem". They are fantastic and if we need more catering done, we will definitely choose Duos again. Thank you Melissa and Duos for a fantastic wedding.

As the owner of Your Perfect Bridesmaid (a local wedding planning company) I have been working with caterers on weddings for the past 13 years. I recently had the pleasure of working with Duo's and 2 days later I am still shocked at the awesome-ness (is that word) of their service AND their food. The Duo's team was exceptional. They were kind, calm, professional, detail oriented. They were on top of EVERY detail. They were in their zone and they made it look easy. And then there was the food itself. There are not enough adjectives to correctly describe this meal. The menu was so fun and creative. Duo's worked with the couple to create a custom menu that perfect demonstrated the fusion of the B&G two cultures. The food was gorgeous, creative, and down right delicious. A big thank you to this entire team, you really blew me away. And if you are looking for a caterer for your next event....look no further!
