On an afternoon outing from my Dad's doctor's appointment we Stopped in at Danny's BBQ near Home Depot in Silverdale for lunch. We had the rib plate that cost a little under $18 per plate. It was worth the cost to get true ribs and it appeared as if the sides were home made. I had the smoked macaroni and cheese and cornbread. The cornbread was a bit plain but tasted alright with honey and butter that came with it. Now the smoked macaroni and cheese was not only an original idea but had a delicious flavor of smokiness and loaded with cheese. The ribs, to me, were slightly overdone but burst with juicy meat that practically fell off the bones! The BBQ sauce, also seemed made right there, added a delightful layer of taste to an already mouth watering meal!

Lived here for almost 5 years and this is our first time eating here. That was our first mistake why haven’t we eaten here 5 years ago?! This place has thee best BBQ food in Kitsap. We absolutely loved it. The smoked Mac and cheese was so delicious. Everything was great! Definitely will be coming back!

Wow, color me impressed!!
I had the 1/2 pound baby back ribs meal. The price and portions were good, but the taste? AMAZESAUCE!! Juicy, fall-off-the-bone ribs with a deep smokey flavor. We're not talking about some painted on sauce, but legit smoke magically infused into the meat.
I had the zucchini & peppers side: the garnish of pickled onions adds a new dimension of flavor to an already tasty side, and the veggies were perfectly cooked. I also had the coleslaw and found it good, although not quite as sweet as I prefer.
I sampled my wife's smoked mac & cheese, and let me assure you: this is not just a box of Kraft with BBQ sauce! It had a hint of the smokey tastiness that the ribs had, as well as tender tidbits of meat. The corn bread had good flavor but was a bit dry and needed some butter.
And, this place was busy! We dined in, and despite there always being at least one person in line, the service was very fast.

Over all 5 stars! Very welcoming friendly environment. Not long of wait even though it was full house! I got the pulled pork plate with mac n cheese and baked beans. I LOVEDthe mac n cheesebut wasn't a fan of the baked beans, that doesn't mean you want like them! The pulled pork was full of flavor and just melts in your mouth!! The Texas toast was also delicious and I loved the pickles and red onions they put on the side!

The BBQ is very inconsistent. Sometimes it's delicious and juicy, other times it's very dry, especially the brisket. As usual, BBQ ribs and/or brisket is expensive so it's a real disappointment to get home and discover you've been stuck with a mediocre meal. The Texas toast is a throw-away unless you have kids willing to eat it. The beans and cornbread are good, although last visit at about 6:45, both were "sold out". We stopped there two years ago when we were first in town and didn't like the BBQ. I gave it another try about five months ago and was pleased at how good it was. I even asked if they had new owners. (no) Since then two good meals, one bad one. I'm waiting for our other choice to open for the season.

We were in the area running some errands and shopping, working up an appetite so we decided to look for a local restaurant to try rather than wait until we got back home. I came across Danny's BBQ on Yelp and after reading the good reviews, decided to stop by and try.

When we walked in the employee greeted us and informed us that they were out of chicken for the day, which was fine because we already knew what we wanted. We placed our order, decided to dine in so we sat down at a table and waited for our food to be brought out (which took maybe 10 minutes)!

I ordered the pulled pork meal - comes with Texas toast and two sides... I opted for the Mac and cheese and baked beans. My husband ordered the ribs meal with the same two sides, I tried to get a picture of his food - but he was already digging in.

The pulled pork was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The texture was spot on as well, with some softer pieces and some harder pieces. The Mac and cheese was so flavorful, the texture was spot on (not mushy whatsoever or dry). The beans... were phenomenal. You know how some BBQ place have your typical "canned beans" baked beans taste, not these! They almost tasted like chili beans but had pulled pork pieces throughout. The plate as a whole was great and did not disappoint!

It is a smaller restaurant with only a handful of tables inside and a few picnic benches outside (for nicer weather days) but luckily alot of customers were ordering to go, so it was just us dining in.

Overall, from the food to the service - we'll definitely be back to Danny's BBQ and recommend to anyone!

Brisket with BBQ sauce was delicious! Good portion, and you can cut it with your fork. Hot links were just the right amount of spicy. Only issue was that the mac and cheese was a little gritty.
