Looking back on the event, it felt flawless. Working with Herban Feast Catering made everything easy. We felt taken care of in the lead up to the event. We can't thank BJ and the Herban Feast crew enough for everything they did to make our daughter's dream wedding come true, making it the most beautiful event imaginable. But first, a story. First there was Covid, which necessitated a smaller event than planned. Then came the fires in eastern Washington, where we planned to host about 100 people. With three weeks to go before the big day, all our plans had to be changed and moved to Seattle. BJ came to the rescue, finding us the most amazing venue -- Amor & Paz on Vashon Island. All our guests agreed that we could not have found a more gorgeous setting had we started planning three years before! And BJ secured this beautiful garden wedding just three weeks before our guests were to arrive. Beyond this, BJ worked with our daughter whose wish was to have her friends camp out. He made this dream come true as well. On top of this, he worked with us to help us fit the whole thing into our budget. On the day of the event, the crew was diligent, professional, and super nice! The food was over the top delicious. Every guest said this was honestly the best, most beautiful wedding they've attended. BJ, Lisa and everyone, you are the best and we owe you a huge debt of gratitude for making our daughter's dream wedding happen.

We had the absolute best experience working with Herban Feast team for our wedding! The food delicious, with guests coming up to us during our reception to remark on their dinner. Everyone we worked with the HF team was so helpful and focused on guest experience. From our initial tasting, to our coordinator Mary, to the team that shows up day-of, you felt taken care of and like this team has thought of everything to do with food/guest service. Special shout-out to our server Sally, who was so kind throughout the day.

It was their first time catering at our venue, but you’d think it was the 100th. The HF team is a well-oiled machine and will carry your day off excellently!

We are beyond happy we chose Herban Feast to cater our wedding. I had been to the Foundry a few times and I knew I wanted them to be a part of my wedding in some fashion from the start (either venue, food, or floral). From the moment we contacted them, they were a pleasure to work with. We worked with Mary, who helped us through the process of picking out our food, coordinating with the day of team, and she was really responsive to answering all of the small behind-the-scenes questions I had. They have multiple tastings a year so you can get a really good sense of the options and styles they have, meet the chefs, and ask questions to help tailor your courses to your special day. Day of, their staff is professional, responsive, and flexible and they truly helped make our day one to remember. When I say the food is AMAZING it’s an understatement - everything Herban Feast makes is beyond delicious and our guests were talking about the food for weeks after. If we ever have a big party or celebration, Herban Feast will definitely be our go-to. Thank you, Herban Feast!

AMAZING! We had our wedding reception at The Foundry by Herban Feast on 4/2/2022.

Number on thing: staff were out of this world. Our coordinator, Kate, was so responsive and flexible. The catering staff were not only talented, but were great during our tasting dinner. They helped us create the perfect menu and select the perfect drinks! Lastly, but most certainly not least, the night of staff were FABULOUS. I've never met such a nice bunch of folks! The bartenders, attendants, kitchen staff, everyone. They were not just polite and professional, but were sincerely pleasant and not robotic or anything like that.

The venue is, of course, beautiful. We had no issues with the venue and it was very pretty, even without decoration or flowers. But dang, the staff!!!! You have a good group of people, Herban Feast. You made the experience so amazing and you'll forever have our gratitude.

We got married at The Foundry by Herban Feast and used them for catering as well. First off, The Foundry is an amazing venue!! The overall flow of the whole space is perfect and if you want everyone on the dance floor all night, this is the place to do it. The bar is right by the dance floor and we put the dessert/late night snack near there as well. Herban Feast also nails it with their food! Everything was delicious and unique. Food was super important to us and they delivered. I highly recommend both The Foundry and Herban Feast!

I chose Herban Feast to cater my wedding at a private residence on Vashon Island. BJ and his crew had great communication the week of my wedding and on the day of it was like meeting an old friend, instantly putting me at ease. All our guests loved the menu and the food, fresh ingredients and tasteful presentation sealed the success of dinner. We did go over budget but it was worth it and I have no regrets. I would choose Herban Feast again for my next event. I also used Herban Bloom for my bouquet and boutonnières which BJ also owns and they came out lovely and I received lots of compliments on the flowers as well! Class act!

Herban Feast catered for our wedding at Parties on the Terrace on 5/21/22. The food was incredible, the staff were kind and gracious, and the bar tenders made some amazing drinks. Katie our planner helped us think through the big picture down to the little details (like having a private moment with my husband after the ceremony - complete with appies and drinks!) They helped coordinate our linen and dinnerware rentals, etc. which was a huge help since we didn't know where to start. After 2.5 years of wedding postponements, they were a big part of making our day feel really special. Thank you!!
