Good find while out on vacation. The cinnamon rolls as others I’m sure post about are definitely a go to item. It’s large, so can be shared…or indulge! Our party ordered quite a variety and we all enjoyed our meals.

However since it is a smaller location, and its popularity, it’s a packed house… so make a reservation to get a spot.

Give it a try. It was a mixed bag for my group. I prefer a peppery sausage gravy, the gravy was plain. Eggs were fine and so were hashbrowns. Biscuits were plain.. no butter was given to me. Try the toast, it looked lovely. Huge cinnamon roll; however it wasnt layered.. it was more like a loaf of bread. Share it with a group. Staff was nice, we didn't get checked on often , but we were also not left wanting. You will have to season many items yourself. Again, give it a try - your tastes may differ from mine.
Ps. They have Pepsi products...

A delightful cafe in downtown Puyallup that was recommended to me… so why not try it? What a great breakfast we had! 👏🏻 The hash browns are amazing - the best I think I’ve had - and the bacon was delicious! Challenge to think about - the lights were a little too dim. But overall a definite winner 🥇 Jenni thank you for your great service and wonderful smile. 😊

So unbelievably tasty! I am a sucker for a Benedict and they also offer a country Benedict with biscuit, sausage egg and sausage gravy. I came in on a Saturday at 8am and they made all my dreams come true! A half and half Benedict. They don't offer it normally but because they weren't slammed the kitchen said they can do it. I offered to pay for the extra bread but they said no way! Also don't sleep on the home fries. Granted they don't look crispy but they are! And perfectly seasoned! The waitress was amazing. I missed her name but I left a hefty tip for her and the kitchen for accommodating my request! I did ask and they don't have a full bar but they do have a few adult beverages available. Stop and try them out!

On a weekend in 2019, my family decided to try this restaurant downtown for breakfast. The ambiance is rustic and the intro esthetic is nice and clean.

My husband got the French dip sandwich, my daughter got the Country fried steak with over easy eggs & toast and I got the French toast with over easy eggs. We all agreed that our food was good. We shared the beignets, however, next time I would mind the syrup as it was too sweet with the powdered sugar. My daughter and I also enjoyed the coffee. Our server was great. We would return again sometime.

Stopped by this cute place around 830am on a Friday. Seated ourselves and the wait staff were friendly, attentive and quick during our visit. Food was delicious- kudos to the kitchen staff. Try the home fries if you get a chance, crunchy/soft/flavorful. Overall very pleasant first trip would recommend if you’re in the area.

We had a wonderful breakfast at Meridian Cafe. The Eggs Benedict were perfect. My wife said the gravy on the Chicken Fried Steak was the best she'd ever had. She doesn't like pepper so this was perfect. The only reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 on Atmosphere is because the booth tables are one long table and two long benches shared with the people on the other side with a piece of sheet metal hanging between them. Every time someone on the other side bumped into the sheet metal it bumped into my shoulder. And the kid sitting on the other side kept kicking my daughter in the thigh. If you can, get a table and not a booth.

If you’re looking for a place with delicious food and generous portions, you have to try Meridian Cafe. It outshines big chains like Denny’s by a mile. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel instantly welcome.

The menu has a great mix of classic and unique dishes, all made with fresh, quality ingredients. Whether you’re in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the portions are big, and the flavors are fantastic. The country fried steak is especially amazing!

What really makes Meridian Cafe special is the personal touch. It feels like you’re eating a meal made by family. For a truly great dining experience, skip the big chains and head to Meridian Cafe. You won’t be disappointed.
