One particularly glowing review states, I just had a fantastic stay at Casey and Nathan's lovely Swantown Inn in Olympia. My only regret was that I couldn't have stayed longer. Their home is gorgeous and welcoming. Casey and Nathan made me feel right at home and served the most delicious custom breakfast—accommodating my dietary restrictions on very short notice. It was so nice to explore Olympia very easily from the inn. I hope to return the next time I'm on the West Coast. Thank you Casey and Nathan.

The hosts were always ready to accommodate and responded quickly to any questions we had. The rooms looked just as advertised with a very cozy Victorian feel with unobtrusive luxuries. The bed was extremely soft and comfy - so much so that an early riser as myself felt compelled to sleep in just a couple more hours. The coffee and breakfast in the morning had generous portions and was absolutely delicious. While we ate we had a pleasant conversation with Nathan and Casey. It being the Christmas season when we stayed the decorations added to the already very pleasant Victorian feel.

I came up to Olympia from Portland for one night for a work thing and had an absolutely lovely stay here!✨Everything about Swantown is charming and full of character, from the moment you first walk up to the property. My room was gorgeous and very comfortable. As someone who normally can’t sleep well when I travel, the bed and pillows were so comfy I could actually get a good night’s rest 🙏 The breakfast was delicious, and I can’t say enough nice things about Nathan, one of the owners! He was so welcoming and even gave me a lift to the local bakery 🥐 🥹 I’ll definitely be coming back here my next visit to Olympia!

really enjoyable stay with Nathan and Casey, the hosts. The accommodations in the Astoria room were lovely and comfortable. A quick tour at the beginning, some keys and you’re all set. A three-course breakfast and espresso the next morning at 9am in the dining room was delicious. Another enjoyable element of the stay was the conversation, which was lively and funny.

Swantown Inn Bed and Breakfast is located just a few minutes off I-5 in a residential area where the gingerbreading on this Victorian home seems appropriate. Hosts Nathan and Casey welcomed me into the cosy ambience of a Victorian home. Entering is like “Coming home to a place I’d never been before” to borrow a line from John Denver’s song. I was amazed at how the immersion in a bygone era is very relaxing, just by entering a home filled with Victorian nostalgia, a house built in a time of gentility and civility, including the hospitality of the hosts. The experience of staying there was period authentic down to the breakfast included.| This is not one of the ostentatious Victorian mansions usually featured in historic tours, such as the Port Townsend tour of the former residences of late 1800s ‘lumber barons,' but instead a return to a time of gracious living that makes modern day cares fade away. I felt I returned to a time when home was where you came to relax after a workday, surrounded by family and a décor that celebrates family and life lived well, not extravagantly. A Victorian era history buff would really enjoy staying at this inn but I recommend this experience for anyone who needs a vacation, even a single day of rest and relaxation. |PS – the beds are wonderfully comfortable!

Great place to stay awhile and explore Olympia, Nathan and Casey go the extra step for guest comfort. They’ve included many thoughtful details in their rooms to make your stay relaxing, and their home is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, featuring produce they grew themselves. I’m looking forward to staying again.

We enjoyed our stay at Swantown Inn! We booked last minute on the way out of Olympic National Park. Nathan worked with us graciously, despite our late arrival time. We enjoyed getting to know other guests in the mornings over three course breakfasts, with Nathan and Casey occasionally chiming in to share stories or their recommendations for spending time in the area. The breakfasts were delicious, and I think a “Swantown Inn Cookbook” would make a fantastic addition for the gift shop cabinet. The first morning featured maple brown sugar scones, peach sage sorbet, and decadent french toast. The second morning featured plum scones, blueberry spruce sorbet, and an apple bacon soufflé. The accommodations were cozy, and the entire atmosphere of the home is respectful to the time period that it was built. This is the place to stay in Olympia, and we feel thankful for the opportunity to say that!

This hotel exceeded all expectations, especially considering the price. From the moment we arrived, the valet service was efficient and friendly. The front desk staff were welcoming and provided all the information we needed for our stay. Our room was impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring. The breakfast was amazing, with homemade scones and sorbet among the three courses. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable stay with excellent service and a beautiful rooftop experience.
