The room was as expected for the price- clean and quiet. The location is convenient. They list a continental breakfast on the website, but the morning we were there, the door to the dining area was still closed at 8 a.m. (despite a listed opening time of 7:30). There was a blank piece of paper partially covering the continental breakfast sign, but no clear indication of what this meant. There was no one at the front desk to tell us if it would open or not till about 8:15 (they did open it so we could grab a yogurt, but there wasn't anything else). It would have been helpful to let us know the night before, and probably best to update your website if you dont truly offer breakfast.

I was looking for an inexpensive place for my partner and I after coming back from a concert in Seattle. Price was about $25 higher because it's February, but it was a convenient location for us. Had all the basic amenities but the kitchenette faucet had a leak. Shower wasn't working properly either. We both slept good though and will visit again

Charming and comfy! My wife Stephanie is writing this review.
We are seniors and travel on a budget and have seen many many hotels and motels. We will definitely be back to stay here.
The building is older but it is in excellent condition and the feel is like going to visit your grandparents elegant old home. The room was on the second floor. We climbed the spacious stairway to get there. The carpet is thick and in wonderful condition, my husband calls it "theater carpeting." Plantation shutters, a kitchenette with china, silverware and everything you could need including a wine opener is in the room. The bath was spotless and updated. This is a standard 2 queen room.
The only negatives, which were not a big deal at all, were that the towels were a little skimpy and we were only given a set of two. ( I like an extra towel for my hair in the morning). The sheets are older and the beds a bit soft, like going to visit your grandmother 😉
All in all we loved it and are definitely going back. The charm, quaint elegance and coziness as well as the cleanliness were a big plus for us. We felt very ' at home' .

This is a very cozy quaint place. People are friendly. The host called to make sure I was still going to make because I was running behind. Room is large with a king size bed. Over all experience is 5 of 5. The only thing I would say is the beds could use an upgrade.

Sad to say, it's as bad as other reviews have outlined. Visible dirt, furniture so old/beat up/ broken that it should have been taken to the dump YEARS ago. The upside is that the kitchen and bathroom seemed reasonably clean and smelled like bleach, great location, and it was quiet. Given what I experienced, I have no reason to doubt the validity of the reviews I see talking about even worse experiences. 100% would not return.

The staff was friendly. The area was a bit scary and I felt uncomfortable walking in by myself. My room was very clean. The bed, however, was not very comfortable. It was a bit lumpy. My room had a nice kitchenette with coffee provided. It served its purpose for the one night I was there.

The rooms were dated and dirty. I had three rooms total. The carpet was gross in all three and the rooms smelled like mildew. The room we were in had a kitchen and it was gross at best (tin foil on burners, dirty toaster, nail polish on the furniture). It also had a Murphy bed which looked like it hadn’t had linens changed. There was a filthy couch taking up a large portion of the room, but I didn’t let anyone sit on it. The carpets had holes. The hotel only provides 2 towels for 4 people. The young man who checked us in was kind but the woman who was there later lacked customer service skills and was very put out by having to provide enough towels for people to shower. The young man is the only reason I gave it two stars. It’s close to everything, but so are the other hotels in Anacortes. I’d go elsewhere.

We had a wonderful overnight stay. From check in to check out, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Our room was warm, clean and comfortable. And above all it was affordable!
The hotels location was central and easy to navigate to/ from. It's on a quiet and safe street with wheel chair accessibility.

I wish I took more photos to show how cute the hotel is! Big small town vibes.
