My cousin and I got some Clam Chowder at the Dockside Food Truck while waiting for the ferry to head to Friday Harbor. We also got a drink and I got a candy bar. I didn't see the Chowder on their small menu but saw a poster of it inside the truck. At first I thought they were just teasing us but then when I asked about it, I found out they had some and was definitely excited haha. Get the Chowder!!!

The dark curly-haired young woman working on the afternoon of 09/11 was surly and irritated by an order of 2 mochas. She slammed the first one down and when I said “I had 2” she replied “I can only make one at a time” in a very angry, huffy tone. Wide eyed looks from all the customers waiting. It also took her about 12 minutes to make the mochas. Perhaps she was having a bad day, perhaps she was feeling overwhelmed and needed more help, but I don’t feel that should have been taken out on me for placing an order. Hopefully things get better for her.

Had a very mediocre (but not bad!) cup of coffee here. There isn’t really another option so beggars can’t be choosers! Super friendly staff. Fun to gab with for a minute or twelve while waiting for the ferry!

Adorable sales person manning the cash register who cracks jokes and is very friendly. He's also honest about his reviews of the bagels. Thanks for feeding me while I was in need!

Tried to put a small food container in their trash and was told I can't use their trash unless I buy something. That is enough for.me to stay away and share my experience. Honestly nothing else to do waiting for a late ferry.

At 8:15 am, the breakfast sandwiches look and taste like they are more than a day old. I guess the only draw here is that there is literally nowhere else to go

Super slow! Waited in line for 20 mins, then another 15 for order to prepare, and still didn’t get my coffee because the ferry was already departing. That’s $10 donation for awful service. If you have a deli store next to the ferry - make sure you can give out orders faster!

This food truck was better than we expected, but not anywhere like a restaurant or even a fast food place. One substantial food option, a breakfast sandwich, but they were out of Canadian bacon and had only sausage. The only other food items were prepackaged breads and pastries. The people were mature and nice enough. Drink options were extensive, including latte and mocha, but we couldn’t get a real meal before boarding the ferry, which has no real food options, either. But what do you expect from a retailer that has no competition and an endless supply of surefire customers?
