I stopped at the Corner Cafe on a Saturday morning in August.
I absolutely love this location!! It's so spacious and I can do some shopping at the Corner Market it's attached to; after sitting down to enjoy my hot coffee in a GLASS mug.
The treats in the case are of amazing quality and I found myself favoring the sweet saffron Turkish delight and walnut baklava the most!!
A large portion of goods are vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free also, so it's a perfect stop for anyone with a restrictive diet. And it taste amazing!!
I left around lunch and decided to grab a Togo cup of the Mediterranean red lentil soup and it was an absolutely perfect decision for my walk around the marina! It's warm hardy ingredients were perfect as I took in the scenery and salty fresh air! Blended to perfection with, what I'd call, a dash of love!
Nothing felt "too heavy" on my walk and I thoroughly enjoyed the quality of ingredients and service i received from Zaza's cafe!!

I will be back for my treats, coffee, and Zaza's wonderful pistachio powder soon!!

Well, I already know I love Turkish anything and when I read about this place in the newspaper I had to try it. I went in and was immediately greated by a young man named Ayan (not sure I got the spelling right) but he was awesome! You can tell he is a kind, attentive, hard worker, and he laid no judgment on me when I asked for "two of everything to go". That large of an order seems excessive I know, but when you see the treats they have in that beautiful glass case, and how they call to you, you'll understand. And I certainly do not regret trying everything because, well why not live a little, and most importantly because they are the most amazing treats I've had, and I have plenty to share.

Best Baklava and Turkish Delight of my life.

I'm hooked.

I wanted a local option to refuel myself for biking back to La Conner and saw this. It has a separate entrance but is part of The Market at Anacortes building. Amazing selection of Turkish treats and Mediterranean dishes to go along with excellent coffee. Super nice owner present who has clearly put a lot of effort into to this spot that is worthy of your patronage. Check it out!

Amazing cardamon coffee and delicious Turkish delights. Wonderful with my kids. Even got my oldest son to try something. Showed the kids how to play a Turkish yo-yo game. Just a wonderful experience!

We ordered pomegranate tea and Turkish coffee. The chocolate baklava was really good. I recommend that. The baklava is a bit pricey but they are delicious and authentic.

Wow!! What a treat! I had a delicious lunch, and the Turkish Delight was better than I had in Istanbul. This will be a regular stop for me each time I come to Anacortes.The owner, Leo, is an engaging and enthusiastic person. I loved talking with him. (I took more Turkish Delight home to share with friends!)
