I traveled to Washington for work and was looking to book a last minute hike. Stephanie was very responsive and super helpful with this last minute accommodation!! I was really hoping to go to the North Cascades, but due to weather, we decided to go to Anacortes - at first I was a little disappointed, but once we got there, I was super excited that plans had to change!
The town is really cool and Stephanie is super knowledgeable and passionate about the area. The hike was excellent and was paced based on my experience level. Stephanie had so much knowledge about the wildlife, the plants, etc and had a lot of neat bits of information to share!
I would highly recommend taking a hike with Stephanie whether you have one or ten people in your group. She was super easy going and fun to be around, and you learn a lot when with her!

What a wonderful experience with Skagit Guided Adventures. Our trip started off by Stephanie picking us up at our B&B, Katy's Inn. She was very informative with the great sites and amazing views. She stopped at her favorite spots along the way for us to take in the beautiful scenery. We also had a wonderful lunch along the river and did a 2.5 mile hike to come up close with the massive cedar trees and amazing views. Stephanie was so much fun, and you could tell how much she loves her job, explaining every little tree and flower along the way. We had a great adventure with Stephanie, one that will never forget. Just want to say thanks to Stephanie from Skagit Valley Adventures for the great tour of the tulip fields and the area. My wife and I had a wonderful time. Nothing was rushed, Steph was very flexible with the agenda stopping to see other sights that were also fun besides the tulips. Her knowledge of tulip process was also very helpful. Listening to her talk about other trips I can only expect that tours like Birding would be equally as professional and interesting.

It has been eight months since I embarked on her tour and I still remember a lot. The North Cascades National Park is a serene and picturesque location that I would like to return to someday. Stephanie took us to special spots that I would not have gotten to on my own. She pointed out plants and told us what she knew about them plus answered questions. We went on an easy hike where we saw native plants. The way the tour was conducted felt personable because it was a small group and she asked us about our interests. She picks up from a variety of locations and provides you with local recommendations upon request. Her business is independently owned and operated. I felt my money was well spent on this adventure.

Stephanie was absolutely amazing! I did two days of tours with her - one exploring Anacortes and one day looking for snow geese and visiting the tulip fields. She tailored the days to me and was extremely informative with local lore, ecology, wildlife, and history. Truly worth every penny and made my trip that much more special. I highly recommend anyone who is going out to the Mount Vernon/Burlington, WA to consider booking Stephanie. I hope to come out again in the future! A bucket list trip that I will never forget!

Wow, just wow. If I could give 10 stars out of 5 I definitely would. When you initially see it, the price may seem a bit steep but I promise you, it is worth it!!! We did Stephanie's North Cascades National Park tour and we absolutely loved it. We took the train from Seattle to Mt. Vernon to begin the tour. We had informed Stephanie about our travel plans prior to leaving for our trip and would later find out she then closed registration for that days tour because she knew the train tends to run late. How incredibly considerate, way above and beyond. She was very informative, took us to some beautiful areas off the beaten path. She was also very personable- asking us questions about ourselves and sharing information about herself and her passion. We could not have asked for a better experience at North Cascades. She even helped me out and was super patient with my fear of heights.

Hands down the best tour we have ever been on! Stephanie is extremely knowledgeable and is an excellent conversationalist. My mom and I went on the Mount Baker Day Tour and fell in love with the amazing views of Mount Shuksan, Mount Baker, and Picture Lake. We picked berries around Picture Lake, enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch, and hiked around Bagley Lakes. We highly recommend booking tours with Stephanie.
