I was looking for accommodations on Bainbridge Island and took a chance on Seabold Cottage. It was a delight: bright and airy with a view of the orchard. The cottage contains many conveniences including a kitchenette, books galore, and an entertainment center. I was there during a hot spell but kept comfortable by fans. Judy, the charming hostess, offers guests the option of breakfast when reserving. I was pleased with the freshly baked muffins/breads and fresh fruit delivered to my door at the requested time.

My only word of caution is that Bainbridge is not well lighted. It was a challenge to find the cottage in the dark, but I was thrilled once I did. Highest recommendation!

I came alone to have a quiet escape for a few days. It was fabulous! Lovely comfortable cottage with everything you could want, and Judy--the charming owner--has excellent taste in decor, books and movies. Rates are very reasonable and breakfast is provided for a small additional fee. I highly recommend it!
