I stayed 6 nights in this wonderful old house. The innkeeper was kind, attentive and helpful. The house was spotless, the towels fluffy and the bathrobe thick and cozy. Breakfast was delicious! Great location, lovely front porch with a harbour view. Highly recommended

My wife & I had a very pleasant stay for three nights. Lorraine is a very attentive and informative hostess. The rooms were well furnished. The common area was comfortable and conducive to relaxation to include a warm fireplace. The breakfast was wholesome and delicious with copious amounts of good coffee.
Great location in Port Orchards vintage neighborhood that overlooks the water and has quick access to the ferry.

Mrs. Howe's is a beautifully restored historic home with views of the Puget Sound. |It is very cozy, and we felt very welcomed and relaxed. Lorraine, our hostess, has thought of everything her guests may want, including comfy slippers, robes and chocolates! Her breakfasts are delicious, and prepare you for a day of walking nearby quaint Port Orchard's shops, dock and harbor.||We only wished we had stayed longer!

We stayed here on the first leg of our PNW hiking trip (en route to Port Angeles and Olympic National Park). It is everything one could hope for in a traditional B&B - outstanding hospitality, comfortable accommodation, and an outstanding breakfast with other guests. We very much enjoyed exploring Port Orchard for the evening and getting our bearings in the great state of Washington. The room we stayed in had just been renovated with a private en-suite bathroom, and had all the conveniences a seasoned traveller might expect, in addition to a small lounge area for privacy. If your journey takes you near Orchard, Mrs. Howes is well worth the visit!

I have visited family in Port Orchard annually for the last two decades, and this gem of a stay is always at the top of my list. Lorraine is a wonderful hostess, not doting, yet cheerfully available to assist, help out, visit, and bake. Hospitality is what you get at Mrs. Howe's. Quiet rooms with lots of history, gorgeous view of the water from the dining/living area, and a tasty, healthy breakfast waiting in the morning. I'm already booked for my next trip, would have it no other way!

One of our best Airbnb experiences ever! We had such a nice stay at Lorraine's. She has the most warm, friendly, welcoming and hospitable personality ever. From the moment I first contacted her till the moment we left, it was such a breeze to work with her. She was quick to respond to my questions and was very flexible with check-in times. The breakfast she serves is delicious and her scones are a must try. She had everything you could need on a trip from Toiletries , extra pair of fuzzy slippers, water, snacks to extra blankets that will make your trip very comfortable.

Lorraine is so kind and accommodating. She prepared a wonderful gluten free breakfast for my wife and it was perfect! So perfect that I myself enjoyed it thoroughly! Very cozy 100-year-old home, with ocean view. Lorraine is an awesome host, so friendly, warm and hospitable. I have not a single complaint, and will definitely stay there again whenever we're back in town!!👍☮️
