I’m a Troy local but have never tried out Bgraves. I went to try it out with some friends and I had the BEST TIME! Wasn’t feeling too hungry, so had some drinks at the bar. I got the champagne punch from Katelyn (AKA Krud), and it was amazing. Genuinely the funniest person I’ve ever met! By the end of the night we left feeling like she was one of our best friends. 10/10 recommend and will be coming back.

My daughter treated me to dinner at B.Graves for my Birthday ?! I was pleasantly surprised that this gem is located in Troy, our waitress and service were exceptional, she had the sweetest disposition! the food was AMAZING literally cleaned our plates !! My steak was perfect and my daughter had salmon which came with an amazing garlic spinach, just awesome!!!
Very surprised when the bill came because it was less than $100 ? all in all a really great dining experience and a wonderful birthday celebration ?

It took some time for our party to be seated and when we were the table was not was not guest ready. We promptly asked to be moved. The service was lackluster, she took our drink and food orders brought them to us and we maybe saw her once while eating and again when we asked her to bring the check.
Now the food was really good, the salmon and chicken dishes were very good.

To be perfectly honest, B Graves has some of the best, if not THE best steaks in Troy. HOWEVER, for almost $30 for JUST the steak (no sides!!) Not only should I recieve a perfect CUT of steak, I should also recieve a steak COOKED to perfection. We ordered a medium ribeye and filet. Both steak were medium well - well toward the outside. The filet is also very small.
Sides are $4-$6 more (each) and the mac and cheese is very pretty, but not very good, very oily and kind of gritty.
Also, there's brick mortar ALL over the ledge that is along the wall where the tables are. I don't want brick dust (and God knows what else) that close to my food.
Our server allowed my drink to empty a couple different times and although polite, not particularly helpful.
We spent $100 for 2 people and didn't leave completely satisfied. I would expect them to have higher standards for the prices they charge. Overall, unfortunately, left disappointed.
*edited to add - NO ONE WAS WEARING MASKS, servers specifically. Tables weren't distanced. By the time we left, the restaurant was fairly full and everyone was definitely within 6 feet of one another.*

Made a reservation for Thursday night, headed into Troy’s graduation weekend, only to get there and be told they didn’t have one for us. Stuff happens, I get it. But our senior was really looking forward to it and we were all disappointed. We’ve heard the food is good, sadly we didn’t get to try it.

Learn from our experience: they wanted to know who we talked to when we called. I assumed it was the hostess because she answered the phone, took all of our party info, and confirmed times. I was told they don’t have one.

Since they did offer to try to work us in later, I’m bumping this up from a 1. But even if we waited til later, they told us they were already backed up in the kitchen and we likely wouldn’t get good service or our food for a long time.

We were driving through Troy and unfortunately had a really bad experience here. The staff were nice, but took over ten mins to come see us. The hangover hash tasted like the chef spilled salt all over it. The burger was cooked well. The brussel sprouts were soggy but the Mac n cheese was great. We had high expectations considering the ambiance and price, and were overall super disappointed. Hoping this review helps out someone else passing through!

Celebrating our 1 year anniversary, my Sorority Sisters and I decided to celebrate at B. Graves restaurant. I made the reservations online on April 2nd for Saturday, April 13th. We arrived at the restaurant prior to our reservation, only to be told that the restaurant would be closing at 2 for a private event. I never received a phone call nor an email stating this as it would have given us time to make other eating arrangements. This left us scrambling to find somewhere else to eat. At 2:07 pm (7 minutes after our reservation time) I received a call but missed it because I ordering food, however when I called back, the manager was in a meeting. I was told she would call me back in 10 minutes (that was at 2:17), needless to say I haven't received a call yet. We were very disappointed as this was something we had planned for.
