Second stay at this wonderful property. Feels like home to us (if home were a beautiful mansion). Stayed in the Southeast Ballroom Suite this time - cozy and grand at the same time. Love having coffee accessible 24 hours and access to the parlor and library for reading and relaxing. Easy on-street parking and great neighborhood to stroll. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Our experience was perfect. Exactly as advertised and lived up to our expectations after reading other reviews. Quiet, clean, relaxing. The property is gorgeous and the owners and inn keepers are extremely nice, friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. We will stay again for sure the next time we are in Seattle.

Before I even checked in, I contacted Brenda to see if I could add some flowers and a gift inside the room prior to my check in. She was super nice and extremely accommodating! I was able to make my 17th wedding anniversary extra special with her help. We stayed in the master suite and had an amazing time! Even though it was just us two in the room, there were enough space/beds for 6 easily! The couch, chairs, bench, and beds were all super comfortable to sit/lay! During breakfast, we had a great conversation with Ana about the history of the mansion and about our stay. The shower in the master bath, which is original is a must try. 200 jets spraying around your body just feels amazing. I will recommend this place over ANY standard hotel any day.

This B&B is a gem. The building is enormous and old-world glamorous. The rooms are big and comfortable. Tasty breakfasts (including the coffee) with home-made treats like French Toast. We've already recommended it to friends traveling to Seattle.

We loved staying here. Very grand building with lots of character, immaculate, and friendly service. Lots of great places to sit and read with a cup of tea. We really liked walking around the neighborhood and seeing all the fantastic houses on the old millionaires row. We have already recommended it to friends.

Beds are extremely comfortable. The breakfast was awesome, Brenda and the other staff were wonderful. Gorgeous old mansion with a lot of history. We cant wait to stay again! My favorite part was the corner chair in the Library. An awesome spot to have morning coffee and read the paper.

I was originally intrigued by the perfect 5 stars reviews written about this B&B. Hubby and I were visiting Seattle and wanted a romantic getaway...we got what we wanted! ||We were able to reserve the Master Suite, which is quite spacious and comfortable, it has four rooms - a very, very large king sized bedroom, large bathroom (deep soaking tub, separate shower, toilet and 2 lavatory sinks), sitting room, and a back bedroom with 2 twin beds. ||The main mansion spaces are equally expansive and beautiful, yet very comfortable. ||Breakfast was maybe the best part of our visit though. We had notified the staff (several days prior to our arrival) that my husband and I are both on strict gluten free diets. They assured us that they had served many people over the years a GF breakfast, and had never received any negative feedback, and I'm so happy to say that not only did we NOT have health issues afterward, but that this will definitely go down as one of our favorite breakfasts ever. They had prepared a special portion of GF French Toast just for us! This...along with fresh OJ, luxurious coffee, spectacular fresh fruit, prosciutto, smoked salmon and cheeses...believe me when I say this B&B gets 5 stars from everyone, that it's the real deal!||We'll be back!

What a wonderful stay in a historic building. I booked two nights in the Volunteer Park room over a weekend. The room was spacious and clean, the bathtub was large, and the blackout curtains were much appreciated. The floors were a bit creaky which is to be expected in an older building. It was still very quiet and I rarely heard other guests while in my room. Every time I returned from an excursion I was able to find parking directly in front of the building. Breakfast was delicious and ready early each day - yogurt with fresh fruit, smoked salmon, prosciutto, bagels, whole grain toast, orange juice, French press coffee and tea. In addition to the continental spread it included a fresh-baked option that rotated. There were multiple rooms adjoining the dining room, including a sun room and another sitting area, so you could look out at the garden while drinking your morning coffee. Great location in walking distance to a public park with an art museum and a conservatory. I loved this stay and I'll definitely be back the next time I visit Seattle!
