There are 4 Hilton hotels in Yakima and at the bottom of the list is the Tru hotel, a 2-star hotel. The only good things are the parking is free and it is generally the cheapest of the four. The room is small, adequate for one but cramped for 2. The room is missing a closet, storage, microwave and coffee maker. The staff was indifferent. The breakfast was OK, about equal to a Hampton Inn. One incredibly annoying feature was that the lobby microwave (the one you have to use) is on a shelf right under where people are checking in at the front desk. What an annoyance. Not a place I would return to.

Wow. This place was really nice. The rooms are small but bright and really comfortable. Definitely Hilton standards. Not cramped just efficient. Love love the huge bathroom and the layout of the building. The back patio with the fire pit with everything. Very nice conference room and open Lobby. Hands down if you are a business person traveling this is your stop.

Never stayed at a Tru before...
We liked it a lot! Rooms are not big but very functional. Bathroom is big and bright!
The Collaboration space was great, since we could do our calls and Zoom meetings away from the hub hub. The common spaces are fun and colorful with a pool table and many games available for guest use.
Breakfast was the usual basic hotel offering.
Another thing we really appreciated was that the desk was well staffed and service was welcoming and friendly!.

First time staying at this hotel and it was great, room was very nice and clean, the whole hotel itself was super clean and nice, lobby offered tons of amenities.and the staff were awesome. My husband, I and our son stayed and we didn't know when breakfast was over and we went down around 9:30 to find it was over at 9am during the week we were a little disappointed luckily a staff member was nice enough to grab us some left over pancakes so we could feed our son, so nice to have someone go above and beyond like that when they didn't have to. I think my only complaint was that the room didn't have a microwave. Otherwise I would say the hotel and our stay was great.

I happened to stay here after staying at the Home2 Suites next door. This place opened one week before I stayed, so everything was in pristine condition. I loved the fact there were water bottle dispensing machines on each floor. The rooms were well designed, and not excessively large. The use of reusable soap and other dispensers was a thoughtful touch. The staff were very attentive and responsive. The morning breakfast was pretty good, and the automatic pancake machine was a good laugh. Overall I would say a great value and somewhere I would definitely stay the next time I'm in Yakima Washington.

This place was awesome! Rooms are clean, and decent size, for the modern day hotel. It's all you need. A little choked about having a no coffee machine in the room, but they always had great coffee downstairs. Breakfast was awesome, all the little fixings you need at a hotel store, even alcohol and self check out! Huge downstairs lounge TV to have a nice little party gathering in huge barbeque area which we actually used and definitely made this day. Feel way more like home. Although you have a Popeyes right in your front door, Chinese buffet, red Robin Burger, joint, and many many more… Even a Safeway right across the street.Staff was great, fairly new building, you would not be upset. Sorry that one picture might be blurry. I'm looking down at the lounge area with the fire pit a bunch of couches it's covered, two barbeques and you can see the big screen TV inside. I think that's awesome! Especially with that Yakima dry heat… Great idea!💯🫡

Great NEW hotel in Yakima by the airport! Located next door to the Home2Suites, also a newer property. My room was facing that hotel with bright neon lights and luckily the room had black out curtains or I would have been miserable. |Room and bathroom was spacious, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great- automatic machine making fresh pancakes, also hot food - breakfast meat and eggs. |Front desk staff was efficient. To enter the room, the room key was on my phone - sometimes didn’t work. |Hotel in a mall located next to lots of restaurants/ The Habit, Chipotle, Popeyes, Jamba Juice, Jimmy John’s, crumbles cookies. |Highly recommend and would stay there again.

This was an all around wonderful hotel experience. Highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Check-in was seamless and friendly. The room was very clean and had thoughtful amenities. I enjoyed the use of the rolling desk and office chair. Breakfast selection was great and the staff kept everything stocked and tidy. I will 100% stay at a Tru again based on this experience.
