I had an amazing week long stay at the Jernigan House!! Mike, Debra and Taylor were all lovely and made me feel like family. The house is historic and beautiful and this family is just incredible. The delicious breakfast was just icing on top of the cake!! I truly felt at home, and despite being on call as an OB/GYN for a week straight, I slept very well. My room was delightful and spacious. I can’t say enough good things about my experience. I will be staying there regularly the rest of the year and I look forward to spending more time at this lovely place with this adorable family!!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Mike and Deb made us feel so comfortable the hospitality was top tier. The room was magnificent and let’s not talk about the breakfast it was simply amazing.🔥🔥🔥 I have already recommended you all to other people. I also thank Brenda Parker for make the stay happen.

I had an amazing week long stay here!!! Mike, Debra and Taylor are all lovely people and this house is beautiful!!! They made me feel like family and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! I will be staying here regularly throughout the rest of the year and I look forward to spending more time here. This is truly the best place to stay in the area.

I had a business meeting -healthcare related, in the area. My wife and I stayed at the Jernigan House. We have stayed in bed and breakfasts before. This one was absolutely the best. We were upstairs in the Jake room. Absolutely beautiful home first of all.. Very quiet rooms. Wonderful breakfasts (you get a menu the day before!), flexible time for breakfasts, if you have to be somewhere by 0800…Mike and Debra, the hosts were the best… Very safe place. The amenities: all kinds of snacks and drinks… the coffee was wonderful. The towels were the best we’ve ever experienced. I could just go on and on. We will definitely stay here again.

First and foremost, we never heard of Ahoskie, NC, but my husband and I had business in the surrounding area and this was the closet place. I am so glad we did.||I found this place online and the reviews were good. I had to call and make the reservation imagine I was able to talk to someone. That someone was Debra the owner. From the reservation to our arrival and during the stay she was absolutely pleasant, professional and passionate about her hospitality.||The room was traditional and modern. The charm of a small town community with updated modern aesthetics. We had homemade breakfast the next morning and enjoy the outdoor scenery.||This is not a community for tourist attractions but if you need a weekend getaway or a staycation away from home this is the place. We are looking for a reason to visit again.

It is the most pleasant, welcoming and familiar place you can find in Ahosky. The owners Devra and Mike will serve you with much love, and if I talk to you about the exquisite breakfasts I would be speechless. In other words, there is no place in all of Ahosky that compares to Jernigan House. If you go there, give them our regards and hugs from Vladimir and Dr. Yuniesca.

I was met with great southern hospitality. Deb was curteous and delightful. Even the 4-legged staff were sweet. Breakfast was delicious. The bed was extremely comfortable. The architecture nut it me was intrigued by the details of the house. I couln't have asked for a better place to stay while in Ahoskie, NC.

Very quaint and serene B&B. Well maintained early 19th century home, rooms are absolutely tastefully renovated, large and exquisite. Owned by a lovely family... and oh yeah, the breakfast part! As far as the price, Please make sure your credit card is paid up.
