Food wasn’t bad and prices whereby bad. Food presentation could use some work. The bbq sauces are sweet or bourbon. The bourbon had a strong bourbon taste, too much for me. The sweet was nice but a bit sweet. Would like spicy option.
Staff was friendly and helpful.

First time trying this place out. AMAZING!! the food is by far some of the best BBQ I’ve hade in a long time! The smoked corn brisket on Texas toast is a MUST TRY! This place is a hidden gem!

Recently moved into town and was really hoping this would hit like Georgia BBQ. First, the server/cashier was doing an amazing job at handling the rush alone and she was very kind. She should’ve had help. More importantly, the food was well below expectations. The “texas toast” was just un toasted, non-buttered bread. The brisket was dry and fatty and smelled off. The mac n cheese tasted like Kraft cheese and there were stray beans in it. I deliberately didn’t order beans from here because they contain pork and I am allergic. The chicken appears raw to me and even if it reached proper internal temp, doesn’t look appetizing. I understand it is brined in sweet tea, but this pink seems excessive. The only dish I could take more than a bite from was the really tasty banana pudding. Unfortunate experience really wish the food was better after spending $42. The pies looked great but likely won’t be back for the bbq. Wish yall the best!

Edit to the owner because clearly no one has taught his uneducated self what manners are. Notice how you ignored my critique of your leather that you call brisket, beans in the mac, and “texas toast.” Learn how to cook bum. so much for wish yall the best lol.

Our first time here. AMAZING. Definitely recommended. The chicken, pork and sausage were so perfectly smoked. And as a bonus, they have beers on draft and they also do mixed drinks. I love finding these hidden gems.

This is the absolute most amazing BBQ around. Mike is an amazing guy and prepares the food himself, very personable and takes the time to make sure the food is what you expect. True hospitality at it's finest. We feel this BBQ beats all other local BBQ. It is worth the money spent. It's a small atmosphere with a small gravel parking lot in the back, but totally worth checking out if you've never been.

Not just the worst BBQ in the area, but the worst BBQ I’ve ever had in my life.
The service was great. It was one guy being server, bartender, and kitchen duty. He was super nice and efficient.
The restaurant was clean and well decorated.
But the food was so bad I left most of it on my plate, and I was hungry.
The Mac and cheese was bone dry and flavorless.
The wings were dry.
The brisket was dry.
The corn pudding was bread pudding, and it was inedible. I’m not sure if that was an error by the restaurant or our server. Either way we just paid and left.

This is my first time here and the food is outstanding. I’ve been all over the US, and this is true southern food. The owner is from TX. The meat was cooked just right, and corn pudding was great. The second photo is called a “Fried Twinkie” a jalapeño brisket wrapped with cream cheese and bacon. I liked the food no doubt about it, though the Price is $$ pricey. They charge you by the pound. I’m not complaining, but I believe they should implement a side and serve platters. Great food and friendly service!

As a Texan, I’ve had a lot of BBQ, and I genuinely believe this is some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. It can match up to any BBQ joint in Texas.

I didn’t know that to expect with the sweet tea turkey but it was excellent. The Texas Twinkie was amazing and had a huge kick to it too. The corn pudding was my favorite though. We live in DC but will definitely come back to Winchester just for this.
