What a wonderful warm welcome after a long drive by Lisa at the front desk! I was happy I chose this hotel because the staff working here have a positive attitude and when I walked in for check in they gave me the nicest greeting and made sure I was comfortable and the room was the best fit for my needs (rest and quiet). Sometimes it’s the little things that makes you feel valued. Besides that the room is very clean and the parking is plentiful in the lot outside. Thanks Lisa!
Aside from that, I realized I had forgotten my toothbrush. I went to the front desk, credit card in hand and was really pleased to get a complementary one from the front desk. It really is the little things.

We checked in Friday afternoon, 2 rooms. We awoke at 5:30 AM, to no water and it was not back on within the timeframe mentioned nor when we left at 10 AM. Things happen. We get that. On our return later that afternoon one room had water. Mine did not. I had to move. We were not told there was no hot water. I discovered that when showering for dinner. We had no time to look for new accommodations. Thankfully had a water bottle for taking prescriptions and teeth brushing. The hotel refused to discount our stay. They offered points which I don't use/want. I was just offered points. I’d prefer the room be discounted by 50%. ||I'd have preferred free coffee in the lobby than having to pay for Starbucks.

Room was good. CLEAN!!! I was on the 5th floor (508). Water pressure was no bueno, and the toilet was not in working order. The tv was placed in a weird location too. The wardrobe was blocking 1/2 the view from the bed. Also, the dispensers for the shampoo were very high up on the wall.
Either way ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff wad really friend! Breakfast was mega expensive, $30 for bacon, French toast and coffee.

I booked this Courtyard for a quick overnight stop after a long day at Shenandoah NP. Though it was a little bit off the path of I-81 and had limited food options nearby, the Bonvoy redemption value was very low and significantly fewer points than other Marriotts in the area. I was skeptical of the property based on the low points and mixed reviews, but figured it was just a place to crash after an exhausting day. All that being said, we were pleasantly surprised by the Courtyard and thought it was nicer than expected. The lobby was quite large for a roadside Courtyard and the staff was very friendly. I sent a message in the Marriott app about a room request with expectations it probably wouldn’t be answered (it’s rare I get an app response with properties across the brand); lo and behold, I had a very pleasant and accommodating response from a front desk agent within 10 minutes of my initial message, and she immediately recognized my name at check-in and confirmed my request. The room, which appears to have received a recent soft goods renovation, was spacious and clean; some wear on the older furniture, but functional nonetheless. The bathroom, on the other hand, looked like it hadn’t been touched in years and had several signs of wear such as marks on the ceiling and peeling wallpaper. The bathroom also had pretty weak plumbing; this was noticeable in the lobby bathroom as well. The condition of the bathroom was unfavorable, but can be overlooked in exchange for the very low points rate. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the Courtyard and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it as long as the redemption rate remains reasonable.

I'm not even waiting until I leave. This place is fabulous compared to the hotel we stayed at yesterday. It's like a brand new hotel. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. 5 stars.

Every time we stop in Winchester, we stay here. Located in a great spot to find dinner, or eat on sight.
Next door is Sheetz, and the best car wash in the nation!
Cash + points option for the stay is great, and the folks working there are some of the best Marriott has to offer.

Stayed here while having a meeting in the area… Checking in was very professional and on-point! The property isn’t too bad, but one elevator was out of service while I was there. Bed was comfy, room was relatively clean and decent, but needs to be refurbished.
Overall, it was a decent stay… I’d return.

Reserved a room … it’s non refundable … now we’re being told the room isn’t available BUT we can pay more for a different room. Bait and switch is illegal!!! Their response is a “room is not guaranteed” but taking our money was! Why make a reservation if a room isn’t guaranteed
