Had dinner at the Cork Street Tavern last week. It was a nice night, so we opted to have dinner on the patio. The selection of beers was excellent with plenty of choices for everyone. Our server was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The food was very tasty and flavorful. I had the fish & chips and my wife the prime burger. We also split a mac & cheese side, which was very good. My only criticism would be that since it was dinner, I would have liked for the fish & chips to come with 2 pieces of fish rather than one. Other than that, it was a great dining experience, and we will definitely repeat.

I love their Baby back ribs that's my ultimate favorite... Actually the foods I tried there is phenomenal ❤️
My #1 favorite restaurant... even though we have to drive for 1hr and some minutes just to go and eat there. It's worth it.

The non smoking side is where we went. Had Nashville hot chicken with tavern fries and coleslaw. The chicken was excellent and our server was very friendly and efficient. We had a coke and root beer. This is a historic location and one of the oldest buildings. $60.00 for what we had including tip.

We had lunch earlier this week and it was absolutely delicious! The best fish n chips in Winchester!! I will say the food was rather slow coming out but it was fresh and hot! The server was pleasant and of course it was a great downtown vibe! We will definitely be back!

Potato skins and fries were great, food was hot, friendly staff, shepherds pie was ok, hubby loved his ribs compared to another place we stopped at Saturday night.

We were passing through on our way home from vacation. We stopped for lunch. There were 6 of us and we were all pleased with our meals. The best was the Potato Bacon Leek soup. It's so incredible. We would highly recommend it. The Peach Cobbler Cider was also great.

I looked at reviews of where to eat when we reached Winchester from our 7.5 hours to stop from Tennessee. We ended up choosing this place. We ordered the onion soup first soup it was very good!! Sad/funny story rhe couple after us asked for the onion soup and they were sold out 30/1 hr wait for the soup. Sorry guys he was like I researched onion soup in the area. Felt terrible . I had Ruben with tavern chips. Prob best Ruben I had. Husband has bbq burger was good. Service is a little slow but that was ok. Picked up quickly at 6pm so maybe busier then. Food location

Amazing cheeseburgers and American home style food in a historic tavern setting. Friendly staff, huge portions and good prices. Seating can be a bit cramped and they do have a smoking section at the far end. Great restaurant in downtown Winchester. Parking is convenient and easy only steps away.
