At the last minute, my wife and I decided to getaway for the weekend. She had stayed in the cottage at Fuller House Inn, but this was my 1st time. I can't say enough good about the cottage! It is located behind the Inn so it's off the beaten path, which is nice as it offers added privacy. The cottage is full of character and charm. The living area on the first floor is spacious and welcoming, as is the bedroom, upstairs. The cottage was well kept and furnished, though there is no stove/oven or dishwasher. There is a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, and a microwave. The location is perfect, only a couple of blocks from Old Town Winchester, were you'll find a variety of local shops and restaurants. Susan, the owner, was great and very easy to work with! I have no doubt that we'll be returning to the cottage at Fuller House Inn, hopefully very soon!

Made a last-minute reservation for two for the weekend. The cottage is quaint, cozy, and clean! Great for a couples getaway! And it's only 2-3 blocks from Old Town Winchester, VA, where you'll find shops, restaurants, museums, and special events. We're looking forward to staying at Fuller House Inn Cottage in the future!

The wedding was beautiful, Susan give us a tour of the place and the rooms. She told us about the history of the house. She was so kind, understanding and patient.

The garden was beautiful, with beautiful flowers. She even waited for my brother who was running a few minutes late.

She allowed us to stay and take pictures. What I joined mostly, is it wasn't stressful at all. The Fuller house allows you, to have an intimate wedding without having a whole lot of people around.

I would recommend the Fuller house Inn to anyone who is looking for a small intimate wedding.

The Fuller House is a very comfortable, beautiful, quiet and peaceful place. Susan, the owner was very hospitable. She answered every question we had. The Fuller House is located in a friendly town, filled with people of different walks of life and different ethnicities. We were close to everything! We went shopping at the mall, we ate at all different restaurants, we even went to a comedy show called couples therapy comedy. The court house was close by and the wedding was effortless. We plan on going back next year and we highly recommend this place for couples and all your wedding needs.

We used the Fuller House Inn for our elopement in Winchester, and it was the ideal venue: conveniently located, serene, elegant, accommodating to our guests (and dogs), and the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. The owner, Susan, also provided excellent communication and customer service, even as our plans for the ceremony underwent a number of changes. We additionally took advantage of the fact that the Inn is within walking distance of Oldtown Winchester's pedestrian mall to host our reception at a nearby restaurant.

There happened to be a snowstorm on the day of our wedding, and we were driving in from over an hour away. That could have been a very stressful situation, but Susan was a calm and reassuring source of information about the local conditions. When we got there, she had shoveled not just the sidewalk, walk, and steps, but parking places for our vehicles as well. In the end, the snowy landscape was actually a plus, as it provided beautiful ambiance for the wedding photos. Everything turned out wonderfully, and it was Susan's input and demeanor that gave us the confidence to proceed as planned. We are certainly grateful we did!

We haven't actually stayed onsite at the bed and breakfast, but we look forward to doing so. In the meantime, we would give the Fuller House Inn our highest recommendation for those looking for a convenient and memorable venue to host their wedding.

We had our wedding ceremony at the Fuller House Inn and it was amazing! We chose the traditional wedding to be hosted in the Fuller House garden, and we had about 30 guests. We received the ceremony script in advance so we were even able to personalize it a bit! Fuller House really went above and beyond for us, it was supposed to rain the day of the wedding so we had decided we should have it inside, but when it ended up being sunny at the time of the ceremony they quickly moved all the chairs outside for us! It was perfect! So simple and exactly what we wanted!!

My husband and I decided to do a small, intimate wedding with our close family and friends last week. My husband found The Fuller House online and so I reached out to Susan to see about booking. I called a couple days later to book the venue and had asked Susan about doing a walkthrough the night before the wedding to decide how we’d want the chairs set up, discuss how I’d be walking in, etc. She told me it was fine if I came and did that as long as it was before 6pm. My officiant and I showed up at 4pm and she then told us we had to set up an appointment. It seems as though she forgot to mention that on the phone to me days prior. On the phone, she also mentioned I could get dressed at the venue but the night before our wedding, she told me the dressing room was an add-on and it would be $60 plus $4.50/minute. I had my makeup and hair already done so to pay $83 to take 5 minutes to put on my dress seemed ridiculous. Again, it seemed as though she forgot to also mention those details as well on the phone. She charged for the venue and $10/guest no matter the age whether it was a 2 week old baby or a 90 year old man. That price should just be included in the price of the venue. As soon as we officially became Mr. and Mrs. and took just a couple pictures, she came up to us and asked who she should see for the final payment. She gave us no time to even breathe after our ceremony and hovered over us the entire time we rented the venue. It definitely felt overbearing. The venue is beautiful, but the owner wasn’t upfront about several different things, wanted money for every little thing, and practically breathed down our necks the whole time.
